(Y/N x Ruby) Making Ruby Happy

Chapter 3: A first kiss

After you and Ruby got back from the park the two of you went to your room and sat on the sides of the bed having a discussion right as the sky was black outside with the moon shining bright in the night sky.

Y/N: "Do you like me? Where did you get that from?"

Ruby: "Well...I uhh...I was wondering about what you said back at the park and I uhh..."

as a flustered Ruby held her hands to her face in embarrassment you snicker, grab her hands, and genuinely said.

Y/N: "Heh don't worry Ruby."

In a sudden turn of events, you kiss her which surprises her at first but starts to excite her over time and she later kisses back in enjoyment of this special day. You are Ruby's new boyfriend.

Y/N: "I've had feelings for you for some time, I suppose you couldn't do it in time so I decided to do it for you."

Ruby: "*Sniff* Thank you Y/N this is all I ever wanted from my best friend, you are the best."

Ruby shed a tear at this heartwarming moment as you give her a tissue to wipe up her tears, once that was taken care of you and Ruby both lay down on the bed ready to get some good night's sleep

Ruby: "Thanks for the day Y/N I really enjoyed it."

Y/N: "I'm glad your happy Ruby, really excited to tell Cj and the others about this."

Ruby: "Yeah can't wait to tell them what happened, well, we should get some sleep."

Y/N: "Yeah, Goodnight Ruby."

Ruby: "Night Y/N."

You lay on the front while Ruby was cuddling by the side and you two slept for the rest of the night initially becoming a cute couple.

*The next day*

It was a cold evening as you and Ruby went for a walk, Ruby holding your hand with hers making you blush.

Ruby: "Man the sky looks beautiful in the evening don't you think Y/N?"

Y/N: "Yep, it sure is."

Ruby pecked you on the cheek as you kept walking to head to Cj's apartment. You went to tell Cj and his friends about your new relationship just for Ruby to get a text from her phone.

Vade: [Texting] "Meet us in the nearby cafe, me and Cj are waiting for you."

Ruby: "Guess we will have to find Vade at the cafe that she used to work at."

Y/N: "Wait, Vade used to work at a cafe?"

Ruby: "Well, she has a part-time job at that place on Tuesdays and Thursdays me, and friends visit that place from time to time to see her...y...you know that place you should know this stuff?!"

Y/N: "Oh well, my mind must be foggy after some time."

Once you enter the Cafe you share your seat with Ruby as you wait for Cj and Vade to arrive, thirteen minutes have passed, and still no sign of them until you see some eyes from the front window but you can obviously make out who they are.

Ruby: "Hehe looks like Vade might be hungry."

Y/N: "Huh, [Looks up to see Vade spying at you near the window] oh man she does this every time ."

You hear the doors open as Vade and Cj enter the Cafe to sit with you two, she came to the table you and Ruby were sitting at as she looked at you with a pervy undertone.

Vade: "There is my little beautiful couple, I've been hearing a lot about you two and wished I could be there to witness."

Vade smiled seductively at you before Cj pinched her ear to calm her pervy side.

Vade: "Eee!"

Cj: "Easy there babe, no need to purify Y/N's heart for another."

After Cj calmed her down the other couple sat on the other side of the table.

Cj: "So how have you two been doing?"

Y/N: "Oh, it's been going smooth since we went out."

Ruby: "Yeah, W..we have actually been dating through our journey a day ago."

Vade: "Oh, I was wondering, why are you two dating all of a sudden shouldn't Mark be here as well?"

Ruby: "Oh...well He b..broke up with me."

Cj and Vade: "He what?!"

Cj and Vade said shocked to be hearing this

Cj: "But, why he said he was happy to be with you, what exactly changed that?!"

Ruby: "Well...he said that our relationship wasn't working anymore and just....asked me to leave."

Ruby started to cry a little while you were hugging her to calm her down

Cj: "Oh, we're sorry about that."

Ruby: "It..it's ok I'm just happy Y/N is with me now."

After Ruby calmed down a bit, You and your friends ordered your food you all share your chats and laughs with each other and begin to make Ruby smile and share a giggle with everyone to evade that whole situation from the past.

Y/N: "So uh Vade..what have you and Cj been up to?"

Vade: "Well, me and Cj have found our outfits from our High School days and I was wondering if those outfits still fit I was wondering if you want to try them on Y/N?"

Y/N: "Sure, I think it might sound good to go back to some nostalgia."

Vade: "Well be trying them on Thursday so be on guard for a good cosplay."

The outfits we had were dusty and a little ripped but they were still pretty intact so I don't think it was a big deal to make a fuss about Ruby was ok with it and I wasn't ready to complain.

Y/N: "So I suppose we might actually be like where in school again, it will be a good time."
