Si-Eun sat at Soo-Hos hospital bed.
Staring at his face.

"I miss you Soo-Ho"
He said placing his hand on Soo-hos

Salty streams of water dripped down his face,
Blurring his vision.
He wiped them with his sleeves and covered his face.

This happened every day.
Si-eun stayed by Soo-hos side.
At this point it was his full time job.

He didn't stop.
He waited and waited,
Just for Soo-Ho to wake up.

He stayed until he was forced to go.

As usual Si-Eun walked through the door, then sat at his spot.
Waiting for Soo-Ho, midnight arrived and Si-Eun ignored his fathers calls.
This time the nurses didn't disturb him.
They felt bad for the poor boy,

Si-Euns eyes felt heavy, he laid his head on Soo-hos head and shut his eyes.
Falling fast asleep.

He was awoken in the middle of the night to a polite nudge.
Si-Eun looked up, to see Soo-Ho smiling at him.

He wasn't suprised, it was probably a dream.

"Are you awake, Si-Eun?"
Said Soo-Ho

Si-Euns eyes widened, he was awake instead of half asleep this time.
Soo-Ho pat his head.
"Did you wait for me?"

Si-Eun sobbed, digging his face into Soo-hos chest.
Soo-Ho caressed his head and admired the crying boy.

Si-Eun sat up, wiping his tears then hugged Soo-ho tightly.
Soo-Ho looked at him, then gave him a light peck on his forehead.
"Thank you"
He said

Si-Eun stayed quiet to the sudden thanks Soo-Ho gave him.
He rested his head on Soo-hos shoulder, falling asleep again.

The two fell asleep together and had sweet dreams.

8 hours

The next morning Si-Eun woke up.
He looked at Soo-Ho, he was fast asleep.

"So it was a dream"
Thought Si-Eun, biting his lips. Holding in the painful tears.

Then Soo-Ho opened his eyes.
He sat up.
"Why are you crying?"
He said, chuckling.

Si-Eun wiped his tears, embarrassed from the assumption he made.
The two boys embraced each-other in both hands, happily smiling.
