Becky was quietly playing with her phone on her bed. It was fairly peaceful for her, despite the fact that she had been listening to light footsteps out of rhythm, continuously pacing around her room. Becky invited Freen over to hangout. The duo had already performed many activities beforehand and drained their energy batteries. Except for Freen, maybe. Listening to the older's pacing and watching her bite on her fingernails in the corner of her eye caused an itch of irritation. Becky heaved an exhausted sigh.

"What is it now? Care to tell me?" Becky sat up, scooting to the edge of her bed and shutting her phone off. Freen halted and stared at Becky.

"How do you say this.." Freen's eyes darted around the room.

She heard a soft pat, turning to Becky and finding the younger offering to sit next to her. Before sitting beside Becky, she sighed as well.

"So?" Becky started, "You can take your time."

"No, it's fine, it's just. Hm." Freen shut her eyes and rubbed a temple, "You know the New Years party we were invited to?"

"Mhm." Becky nodded.

"I found out that.. Heidi was attending and I'm freaking out." Freen heard a laugh escape from Becky. The older one scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Sorry, sorry. Don't worry, I'll be your communicator." Becky patted Freen's back and Freen glared. The younger one couldn't help but laugh again.

"Shut up!" Freen laughed with Becky. "As I was saying, I thought, maybe I should shoot my shot and- possibly-" Freen cleared her throat, a feeling of nervousness washing over her. Becky's smile grew more and more, amused by her shy friend.

"Possibly share a New Year's kiss with her?" Freen spoke quickly, feeling embarrassed about the thought.

"That's what you're pacing all about? Hilarious." Becky took a pillow and hugged it to her chest.

"Shut up." Freen diverted her attention to something random in the room, anything to distract her. Becky chuckled under her breath and felt evil today. She leaned over, making kissing noises to tease the older.

"Would you-" Freen swiftly pulled the pillow out of Becky's arms and didn't hesitate to smack her across the face with it. Becky fell back and let out another intoxicating, addicting laugh. Freen tossed the pillow to Becky's side and smiled.

"Okay, I guess I deserved that." Becky admitted and sat up, hugging the pillow back in her arms.

"You're lucky I decided not to pin you down and suffocate you with it. Maybe next time I'll put it to deep thought." Freen threatened in a joking manner.

"Whatever you say." Becky rocked back and forth, enjoying the short comfortable silence.

"But in all seriousness, you've kissed someone before, right?"

Becky awkwardly laughed, "..That was an accident." Becky whispered but it was clear enough for Freen to register. She felt like melting into the floor.

"Oh.. Really?" Freen scratched her neck.

"Yeah. You should shoot your shot though. Kiss her and do whatever you feel in the moment, but take it little by little." Becky advised.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Take this for example.." Becky leaned in, raising her hand and tucking a lock of hair behind Freen's ear. Their noses brushed and out of natural reaction, Freen slightly and carefully backed away, gulping.

"Sorry if that startled you, but do you know what I mean.?" Becky mumbled and felt like cursing herself out. She was lucky enough to stop herself from crashing her lips onto Freen's, possibly stealing her first kiss.
