a/n: I'm so sorry I'm terrible at updating imagines aha it's a problem lol. Anyway, this is for LornaHayes15 I hope you like it!
The sun was setting on Stamford Bridge stadium. The blue walls were growing dark as the Chelsea match fizzled out. Thousands of people were scurrying around the street, trying to get home at a reasonable hour -- or make it into the packed bars for alcohol.
The only people left in the stadium were the players and their families, all greeting each other on the pitch with selfies and silly poses. Lorna, with her short-brown hair, bobbed through the various people and made her way into her boyfriend's arms.
His matching colored hair rubbed against her smooth skin. "Hiya, Love."
"You were amazing." Lorna looked up at his face, staring into his beautiful honey-suckle eyes. "I'm so proud of you!"
"Stop." Ben blushed, looking down at his feet.
Lorna chuckled at him, kissing him on the nose. "I mean it!"
"Thanks for coming out." Ben kissed her swiftly on the lips, before any of the boys could tease them. "I always play better when you're here."
"That's a bloody lie." Mason, Ben's teammate, launched himself over his shoulders. "You always play like a fool."
"Don't say that!" Lorna punched Mason in the arm, earning a playful whimper from the forward.
"Oi." Mason rubbed his arm. "Your girlfriend's a child, literally. Punching me and everything."
"Not the age gap." Reece, another Chelsea player laughed as he walked by. "What a blow."
"Shut up!" Ben grimaced, "All of you! I can't celebrate with my girlfriend in peace?"
"No you can't old man." Mason chuckled, running off like a kid in tag. "See you people later!"
"See ya." Ben waved, throwing an arm over Lorna's shoulder. "Hungry?"
"Starving." She smirked. "Why don't we-"
She was interrupted by a sharp ring. Her eyes glanced down at her hand, revealing a vibrating iPhone. Ben glanced over, nodding with a sigh. "You should answer that."
Lorna bit the edge of her lip. "Fine."
She slid the accept button across the screen, holding her phone to her ear. "Hey mom, what's up."
"Are you on your way home from the game?" Her mom spoke with annoyance clearly dripping from each word.
Lorna closed her eyes, trying not to go off on her in the first minute of the call. "Not yet, mom. Ben and I were gonna grab some food."
"Don't."
"Mom-"
"I need you both to come here. Your father and I need to speak to the both of you."
Lorna glanced at Ben, who was standing patiently beside her. His fingers instinctively were playing with her hair-- the only thing keeping her sane at the moment. "Okay. We'll be there soon."
She hung up and shot her boyfriend an apologetic look. "My mother requests are presence."
"That can't be good." Ben raised a brow. "Should I be worried."
"When it comes to my mom- yes."
Ben held her hand as they walked to the car. It wasn't long before they were at Lorna's childhood home. Her parents were awaiting them, coming out of the front door right as the Porsche pulled up. Lorna got out first, greeting her parents with quick side-hugs. Ben shook her dad's hand- nice and firm.
