Jada, Callie, and their friends went out to the bar before Lexi, Becca, and Rachel were supposed to catch their flight the following morning.
"Calliope, I don't want to stop," Jada said seductively, backing into Callie even harder as they danced.
Going out to the bar and getting wasted was about the only thing Jada could do without being noticed. Because most of the people at the bar this time of night weren't competent enough to realize who Jada was.
"Neither do I," Callie answered as her hands dropped further down Jada's sides.
Jada had basically forced Callie out onto the dance floor with her and her friends. The bar was packed and Jada knew that Callie would accompany her wether she wanted to or not. Jada used that to her advantage to get her wife to dance with her.
Becca had dragged some guy onto the dance floor and drunkenly introduced him to Callie and Jada. As the songs got better and better, the dance floor loaded up with even more people.
"Yeah, I really don't want this to stop anytime soon," Jada said to Callie over the loud music. Callie's hands had dropped to the front of Jada's waist as people crowded around them.
She smiled to herself upon feeling Callie's hands dangerously low on the front of her waist. That was Callie laying claim to her and it made Jada smile every time. They'd already had some onlookers and drunk people trying to ask them out. So Jada happily danced right in front of Callie and was absolutely enjoying grinding her backside up against Callie.
The couple had also invited some of Callie's colleagues but Arizona and Kate were the only ones to be interested in coming. Both Callie and Jada were surprised that Arizona decided to come alone when Kate had opted to stay at the hospital and finish a couple procedures.
Callie hadn't had a chance to talk to Arizona one on one following the other night. But Arizona seemed to be in better spirits when she spotted both Callie and Jada dancing with their friends.
"I'll be right back," Callie told her wife as she spotted Arizona in return.
The guy Becca had pulled onto the dance floor had already bailed on her. The four girls made their way to a slightly less busy side of the floor closer to the wall. They could hear each other for once and they weren't being hit on by random men and women.
"Where'd Callie go?" Lexi asked as the bartender brought them another round of shots.
"Arizona's here," Jada replied as she pounded yet another shot. "Keep the guys away from her," Jada instructed her friends. "This is the first time she's come out since everything happened and I don't want one guy getting a little handsy to ruin that."
"Got it," Rachel acknowledged. "I like turning guys down anyway."
The group laughed. After losing sight of her wife for a few minutes, Jada spotted her pushing through the crowd of dancers. Arizona was at her side already with a drink in hand while her other hand was around Callie's upper arm.
Normally seeing another woman holding Callie like that would rub Jada the wrong way. But Callie had asked for permission from Jada before doing so. They both knew that Arizona was still very uncomfortable being around drunk men after what happened, and Callie had allowed her to hold onto her arm like that to keep the men away.
Callie's plan had worked as her and Arizona successfully made their way across the dance floor to where Jada and their friends were. She led Arizona past Becca, Lexi, and Rachel and towards the wall like Jada was. That way she would also have the girls to block her.
"Hi baby, is that for me?" Jada asked as Callie returned to her side.
"Yeah beautiful," Callie replied before she was met with a kiss from Jada.
As Jada was about to ask Callie about how Arizona was doing, they were interrupted by Arizona yelling, "hey bitches!"
Jada seriously had the best friends ever. They had already welcomed Arizona as one of the girls and were in the process of hyping her up.
"I believe more shots are in order," Callie said as another bartender came around with a tray of shots. "This rounds on Jada and I."
All of them had a shot glass in each hand. "Arizona!" Becca started cheering. "You're up first girl!"
They watched as Arizona stepped forward and quickly pounded her first two shots. "Damn ladies, I think we might have some competition here!" Rachel explained getting the whole group to laugh.
"Alright, before you all get two far gone, I got us a table and unlimited shots," Callie cut in.
Taking Callie's hand, Jada and their friends followed Callie who had no trouble clearing a path through the people, to their table in a quieter area of the bar. There was a tray full of shots already on the table.
"Who's up next?"
"Let's go bitches!" Jada said as she drank her first shot. "Callie, let's go!"
With a smile, Callie politely declined. "Somebody's gotta be sober to drive your drunk asses home."
Everyone laughed. "Just one, come on Callie."
"Yeah, come on Callie," Arizona added.
"Pick it out," Callie told Jada. "But just one and then I'm done."
Jada looked over their selection of various alcohol and picked out the fireball for her wife. "Really Jaelynn?"
"You told me to pick it out," Jada said with a shrug of her shoulders.
Callie took the glass from her and had it finished faster than anyone expected her to. "Callie for the win!"
"Give me some fireball," Lexi interrupted as she reached across the table to grab the next shot. "You bitches are going to wish you didn't order fireball."
"I'll beat you Lex!" Jada exclaimed as she grabbed herself two shots. "To fireballs right here, right now."
Everyone's jaw dropped at how fast Jada drank not one, but two fireball shots. "Holy fuck Jada!" Becca exclaimed. "I didn't know you had that in you!"
"You'd be surprised," Jada playfully shot back as she backed into Callie's chest.
"That's my girl," Callie whispered into her ear. "One of these days you're going to take me down."
"I think it's going to be sooner than you think Calliope."
•••
Jada sat in the front passenger seat of her Subaru as she watched Callie walk Arizona into her apartment complex through the window. The sidewalks were unusually busy for this time of night so Callie volunteered to walk Arizona into the lobby where Kate would be coming down to make sure she made it upstairs safely.
She had a great time with her wife and friends at the bar tonight. Arizona had a blast and Jada was happy that they were finally able to get Arizona out of her shell a little bit. She wasn't bothered by one guy thanks to Callie's exceptional protection skills.
Watching Arizona give Callie a hug, Jada smiled when she watched her wife jog down the steps and down the sidewalk towards the car. Now Callie was all hers for the rest of the night for Jada to do to her liking.
