I sat there on my bed, looking happily at the ceiling. It was boring, though.
I waited for Expunged to come home, he said he was going somewhere.
I got on one of my phones, and just looked through my phone.

All of these pictures... what happy times, am I right?

I heard someone trying to unlock the door.

That must be Expunged!

I rushed downstairs to the front door, and Expunged came smashing in.

"CLOSE THE FUCKING DOOR, YOU MISERABLE IDIOT!" he shouted.

Pssh... god damn. Fine...

I closed the door, and locked it.
Expunged was breathing heavily, like he was panicked for some reason.

"Brother? Are you-"

"NO I AM NOT, WE NEED TO LOCK AND COVER ANY OPENING OF THE HOUSE, NOW."

I looked at him, confused. What was going on?

"What's going on?"

"DO IT, NOW."

I quickly ran and covered and locked all of the openings to the house, including the windows.
Expunged never, ever was panicked like this.
I knew something was up.

"Now tell me, what the hell is going on?"

"YOU'LL FIND OUT, ALRIGHT?!"

"...Ok."

I just looked at him, worried. Expunged was never nervous, worried, or panicked about anything. I knew this was serious.
I sat on the couch, and waited for something to happen.
Expunged was silent, but he looked terrified.

Crack.
Crack.
CRACK.
CRACK.

"Wh-What is that??"

I jumped up, startled.

"They're here. Take cover, Bandu."

I looked over to him, worried, and confused. Was he really trying to protect me, for once in his life??

"TAKE COVER. HIDE."

I went to the kitchen, and hid myself in the pantry. It was big enough for me to be in.

CRASH.
CRACK.

What's going on out there?...
I wanted to open the door, but I didn't want to die, either. I stayed in the pantry, sweating.

BOOM.
CRACK.
CRASH.
BOOM.

The noises really unnerved me. What was going on? Was Expunged battling someone? It sounded like a war out there...

"OPEN THE PORTAL, NOW. GET THEM IN THERE!"

Portal?
Was Expunged trying to put someone in a portal?

BOOM.
WOOSH.

I couldn't take it anymore, I had to get out there.
I opened the door, creaked it open.

Then, someone tugged on me.

"THERE'S THE OTHER ONE!"

The last thing I felt, was being pushed into a portal.

It felt like I was falling into my doom.
