☟ Camille dragged her feet across the floor with squeaking shoes, arms stretched behind her head.
She had woken a little later than the others and was left to sleep after Yasmina and Brooklynn guarded her room without question, reasoning she deserved the rest. Camille had finally gotten ready, heading towards the main room where she heard a loud commotion which had woken her up.
"But for the record, you guys are the ones who were obviously up to something." Kenji raised his voice before the door slammed shut behind him,
Camille paused, "What was that about..?" She cautiously asked before walking alongside Kenji,
"Everything, everyone, sneaking around behind my back? They think my dad is a bad guy but he's not and they won't believe me!" He huffed out as the two waited for the elevator now before stepping inside,
"Oh...I'm sorry Kenj, they just need to see he's not a bad guy I guess.." Camille sighed as she took things into consideration.
She knew Mr Kon before this, she knew he wasn't a bad guy so what had changed?
The elevator hit the bottom floor as the two exited and head for the biome where the presentation would be held. They moved through the airlock which led them into the forest biome,
"It's actually annoying," Kenji firmly stated, "and hurtful to know that their just going behind my back like this..."
He huffed out, "After all Dad has done for them, are you kidding me?" Kenji stomped his foot as the two continued walking through the biome with the meeting area coming into sight,
"They just don't see your father the way you do you know?" Camille suggested with a shrug as Kenji shook his head, the two reaching the marquee that was set up with tables and chairs.
"Ah Kenji, Camille, just the two I was looking for" Daniel greeted as he spun on his heel, smiling at both kids.
"Hey, dad.." Kenji greeted with a plastered smile as the two kids move over,
