"You guys have every right to be mad at me.."

Kenji stated as if it weren't obvious already they were angrier than ever to see him back again. Heartbreaking thoughts crash through their minds with the feeling of betrayal burning deep inside.

"You think?" Yasmina sarcastically answered,

"Thanks for the permission." Brooklynn narrowed her brows downwards,

"Trust me, I get it. He messed up." Ben plainly answered as he kneeled by Bumpy,

"Oh, is that what we're calling it?" Yasmina huffed angrily as Camille loomed behind the girl,

Ben stood up from kneeling, "He betrayed us. He disappointed us. He practically left us for dead-"

Kenji cleared his throat as Ben guilty shrugged, "But he knows it was a mistake. He helped save Bumpy." Ben moved beside Kenji with a hand on the boys shoulder, "And in my eyes, that's enough for a second chance. Plus, considering what and who we're up against, we're gonna need all the help we can get."

Darius painfully sighed and began to walk away, a look of hurt crossing Kenjis face before his eyes fell onto the girls who remained. "I-I know there's not some magical thing I can say that will make everything right again."

Kenji placed a hand on his chest, "I am so, so sorry. I had this idea of who my dad was or who I wanted him to be. I kept telling myself, he's not a bad guy."

Kenji lightly scoffed, "turns out I was wrong,"

An amused smile crossed Yasminas face as Kenji joked, "Me, wrong. Shocking I know,"

Kenji then walked up to Brooklynn with pained eyes, "Brooklynn-"

"I had this big speech ready in case I ever saw you again. But now, I... I just...I thought I knew who you were."
