Some people believe in coincidences, and just brush them off as luck, but others don't. They believe that things happen for a reason and even the oddest, craziest things are written to happen which is why they do.
Anushka and Prabhas meet at a mutu...
"Ok, so I have to tell you guys something, don't be mad," Genelia starts off, looking away from the mirror that she's doing her makeup and turning to look at the rest of us.
"What?"
"Is everything ok?" Nitya, Samantha, and I set whatever is in our hands down and walk towards her, our bodies tensing up as we assume the worst due to Genelia's sudden nervousness.
"Yeah, yeah. It's not bad, it's just different I guess," She says, giving us a small smile in the hope to ease our worry. I put my hand over my chest, the three of us sharing a relieved sigh before turning back to Genelia.
"So this birthday dinner isn't going to be just us," I raise an eyebrow at her statement, but we all keep quiet so she can continue what she is saying.
"I have a few friends who are also going to be there. Well, it's one friend and he's going to bring his friends too."
"He," Nitya questions, opening her mouth in a half smile half shocked while she goes over to pinch Genelia's arm.
"Oops," She covers her mouth and then the rest of her face with the palms of her hands, while the three of us gush over her embarrassed face and wrap our arms around her.
"This is why you've been extra, extra excited for this dinner right," I hug her tighter, smiling at her smile, reassuring me that this man is the right one because just the thought of him is making her so happy and smiling.
Despite the fact that we tell each other everything, her not telling us is a small hint that he might be the one because I know what that might feel like when you meet the right person and you're almost scared to tell people cause you think you'll jinx it; I get it.
"Yeah." She says, her smile getting even bigger as she laughs along with us.
"It's still the same place, but it'll be 8 of us," Genelia explains as we all go back to getting ready.
"Have you met his friends," Samantha asks Genelia, holding the curling iron high beside her head as she slowly wraps her long hair around it?
"Yeah, they're so fun I think you all will get along. They're all so nice too and the friendship they have is so cute," Genelia tells us with a smile as she digs through her makeup bag.
We all nod at her, sharing smiles as the thought does pass through us because they are all men about the same age as us, so maybe the same magic that happened to Genelia will happen to us.
