*Tam and Jacky's POV*
I know it's been a lil minute since y'all heard from last. Let me tell y'all the day Kare and Auntie Val left, some crazy things happened. Read and find out
*16 months ago*
"Hey girls, Karen and her mom are about to leave for the airport. Are you ready to go?" Cassandra asked
"Uhm actually, we've decided to not go. It's just too much to handle. Will it be okay if we said our goodbyes here?" Tam asked
"Uh sure I'm sure it'll be okay and they'll understand. I'm gonna tell them to come upstairs." Cassandra replied before walking away but was stopped
"Mom, we were coming downstairs, Jacky and I made something for Auntie Val and Kare Bear." Tam replied grabbing 2 gift boxes and handing one to Jacky
"Okay, after you two." Cassandra said following them downstairs
"Hey my babies, ready to leave?" Val asked
"Uhm they've decided to stay but they wanted to give you something before you leave." Cassandra spoke giving Val and Yolanda a look they knew too well
"Oooh gifts!" Doe replied
"Not for you Sasquatch. This is for Auntie Val and Karen." Jacky spoke handing them the gifts
"You can't open it until you're on the plane or settled in the hotel," Tam instructed them
Karen and Val would be living in a hotel until the finishing touches were done to their home which would take about 6-8 weeks
"Okay, we will do so then. I guess it's time we leave huh?" Karen said trying not to cry
"I guess so." Tam replied
The four of us pulled out our necklaces and held them up to signify the promise we made to each other.
"Alright, we don't want you missing your flight." Cassandra told them as Val helped them with their bags
We hugged one last time before they left. Auntie Yolanda stayed back with us and made sure we were okay. Honestly, we weren't and she knew, but she still gave us that comfort that only a mother could.
Yolanda POV
*doorbell rings*
"They must've forgotten something. Sit up for me girls." I told them as I got off the couch to answer the door
*knocking rapidly*
"I'm coming, I'm coming! What did you- Angela?? Oh my God, what happened!?" I asked seeing how red her face was and how swollen her eye looked
"Uhm, Eric did this. He found out everything. Apparently he had a tracker on my phone and stuff. I'm sorry, I shouldn't be here, he could be following me. I should go." She spoke fast trying to leave
"Wait! No Angela, get in her." I said grabbing her arm and pulling her inside.
"Mrs. Dawns, are you okay?" Jacky and Tam asked seeing her face
"Uhm girls, why don't you do upstairs and get your shoes. We're going for a ride. Hurry." I told them
"Yes ma'am." They replied going to do so
"What are you doing?" Angela asked me
"You're going with Val and Karen to Dallas. No questions about it." I told her dialing Cassandra's number
"Hey, Yo I'm heading back. You okay." She asked answering the call
"Not exactly. Do you have Steven's number? I need you to tell him to not leave yet. There's a situation." I told her
"I'm 2 minutes away from the house, but I'm going to call him now." She told me hanging up
*Cassandra's POV*
I don't even remember putting the car in park so I went back and checked before running into the house
"Okay, I called Steven. What's wrong?" I asked as I caught my breath
"This." Yolanda responded as I looked up
"Oh my- Angela what happened!?" I asked frantically
"Eric is what happened. I told her that she's going to Dallas and I told her to stare up if she tried to fight it." Yolanda replied
"Gansta Woman, calm down! Listen Angela, we will take you to the airport. Karen and Val haven't left yet. Girls let's go!" I yelled out
"Leave this here." Yolanda said grabbing her phone and breaking it
"Were you able to grab anything?" I asked her
"No I didn't think about that. I just ran." She replied
"I need to ask. Did he hurt the baby?" Yolanda asked as she touched my stomach
"No, I was able to shield my stomach." She told me
The girls rushed downstairs and we left heading for the airport. As we were driving I noticed a car following us. I grabbed my piece and placed it on my thigh. Suddenly the car started getting closer and I saw who it was. Eric
"Angela, Tam and Jacky I need the 3 of you to put the seats down and lay on the floor." I told them
"Why what's wrong?" They asked
"Just do it." I told them
"Cass what's wrong?" Yolanda asked
"He's following us. I'm going to put the car in cruise control and we're going to switch." I told her
We did so as I kept an eye on him. He turned down a street and I had Yolanda take a different route that would get us to the airport quicker.
*At the airport*
Jacky's POV
"Girls stay in the car and keep it running just in case anything happens. Angela come with us." My mom told us as we arrived at the airport
"Wait, Mrs. Dawns." Tam and I yelled. We got out the car and hugged her tight
"Please be safe. Promise us please." We told her
"I promise girls." She told us
"Tam let's get back in the car and lock the doors." I told her and we did just that
"Lord, we just ask that you keep Kare, Auntie Val and Mrs. Dawns safe." I prayed
"Amen." Tam chimed in
*FLASHBACK OVER*
