05 | Jealous?

Kyung- min POV

Ni-ki was absent today, I wonder why? Is he sick? Or maybe.. idk. I shouldn't mind but why am I so curious? Oh yeah, I like him how could I forget...

I was peacefully walking down the hallway when I got head locked by someone. "AISHH LEE KYUNG MIN HOW DARE YOU HIT JOOYEON HYUNG!" He screamed. "Yah, Yang Jungwon get off of me first." He go off of me and stared at me with playful anger. 

I suddenly grabbed his collar, "You. Yang Jungwon. Don't you dare tell him." I whispered to him. Jungwon just chuckled, "Who?" He said teasing me. I sighed and let go of his collar. I glared at him making him laugh and say, "Ok fine I won't tell him." I went to class and sat down taking out my earpods.

What I didn't realize is that before I left, Jungwon mumbled something. "Ok fine, I won't tell him..... ʸᵉᵗ." How do I know? Cuz this is past tense and that sheep told me later on😀

Teacher arrived in class and started the lesson. After the school ended, Jungwon and I decided to go to a boba shop. I ordered a mango smoothie and he ordered a basic milk tea with boba. "Yah, you're so basic omg." I said to Jungwon. 

"Tsk, says the one who buys a smoothie at a freaking boba shop." We both were bickering for like 5 minutes before getting along again. "Yah, if you drink boba... does that mean you're a cannibal?" "This girl- HOW MANY TIMES HAVE A SAID I AM NOT A BOBA." "Geez calm down or you'll get old faster."

We were walking to the park just cuz he wanted me to push him on the swing. Istg, he is such a child sometimes. Well mostly cuz he was on a vacation for a looong time and we didnt get to hangout with each other. While walking we stumbled upon Ni-ki walking his dog.

Ni-ki POV

I was walking Bisco when I bumped into Kyung-min and a boy. We was wayy shorter than me but still managed to be taller than Kyung-min. "O-oh Ni-ki hii!" Kyung-min waved to me as I reciprocate. "Oh yeah, this is Wonnie- I mean, Jungwon. He's my best friend." She said pointing to the boy. Oh Wonnie? Like Sheep Wonnie? Whatever thank god he is just her best friend.. 

Kyung-min and that Jungwon guy decided to follow me to the convenience store. I was scared Bisco couldn't enter so instead Kyung-min and Jungwon went. To be honest, I was feeling a little jealous. I peeked through the window and saw them laughing together. I also wanna laugh with Kyung-min but... we are not that close yet. 

After buying some snacks, Jungwon had to go home and I was feeling really happy actually. I saw Jungwon hug Kyung-min goodbye and I felt jealous.. WHY DO I KEEP GETTING JEALOUS OF JUNGWON LIKE I AIN'T DATING KYUNG-MIN OR SOMETHING??!!

After Jungwon left it was me, Kyung-min and Bisco. I wanted to walk her home and she agreed cuz it was getting kinda late. Before she left, she said something which made me so embarssed. She told me before entering her house, "Next time, don't make it too obvious that you're jealous of my best friend." I went home feeling embarassed, was I that obvious?

Kyung-min POV

I closed the door of my room and sat down on the floor. I feel happy that Ni-ki was jealous of Jungwon. Are we getting closer? Um I don't know..

Timeskip to next morning :

I was in the cafeteria when Jungwon and Ni-ki both sat beside me. I was in between them. "Oh hi Ni-ki." "Hi Jungwon." I saw that Ni-ki looked annoyed of Jungwon and quietly chuckled. "Ni-ki don't you know that Jungwon is older than both of us." I said as he shook his head. Jungwon looked sheepishly at Ni-ki and said, "Well then, it's Jungwon- hyung for you." Ni-ki ignored what he said and ate his lunch. I could tell he was still jealous.

I had to leave earlier because Mrs Choi needed me and specifically called for me. I told Jungwon to not make Ni-ki jealous anymore before I left. Seriously, Ni-ki looks cute jealous but I feel kinda bad for him.

Jungwon POV

Kyung-min left me and Ni-ki alone and the exact second she left, Ni-ki glared at me. He suddenly started interrogating me. (bold is Ni-ki talking btw and tilted is jungwon)

"When did you meet Kyung-min?" 

"In kindergarten."

"Do you have any feelings for her?"

"Nope."

"Have you ever thought of dating her?"

"Dating Kyung-min eww, I'd rather eat mint choco than date that woman." Ni-ki glared at me. Now it was my turn to interrogate him.

"Do YOU have any feelings for Kyung-min?"

"Yes."

"Have you ever dated anyone?"

"Nope."

"Do you truly love Kyung-min? And explain."

"Yes. The moment I saw her I wanted to talk to her. Everytime I'm near her, I feel butterflies in my stomach. She is exactly my type. Kind, cute, shy, introverted."

"Okay then, I allow you to date her."

"What? I bet she doesn't even like me."

"She does- oops, I was not supposed to say that. Forgive me and forget what you just heard."

"I will definietly not forget what you said, and I gotta go now bye." After he said that, he just left the cafeteria. Wait... THIS KID SERIOUSLY LEFT ME ALL ALONE?!

Ni-ki POV

After I heard what Jungwon said, I left. Does she really like me? If yes, then will I have a chance? Ok, I am going to confess to her. Its now or never. Well, not NOW but soon.
