Takuya scratched the back of his neck as he stood behind Junpei and Kouichi, the two of them with their noses buried deep inside of books from the library. Takuya has been watching the two of them read for a while now and boredom was starting to get to him. Finally, he released a sigh. "Hey, I'm going to go look around this town for a bit." He said, heading towards the exit.

"Okay, will still be here when you're done." Junpei shouted over his shoulder, quickly returning to the book he was reading. Takuya was pretty sure the book was about the History of Fiore.

"Finally... My brain was about to explode." A familiar voice echoed from within Takuya's mind. Takuya silently agreed as he walked down the street of Magnolia.

As he continued to walk, he couldn't help but wonder why they've all been sent to this strange world. Since the moment he had woken up in the middle of the field, with only Junpei and Kouichi, he couldn't help but feel like he was being watched. Pushing those thoughts to the side, Takuya set his sights upon a massive building in the center of the city. From the gates of the building, the words 'Fairy Tail' resigned.

"Takuya, where are we headed?" Vritramon asked, speaking up for the first time since he's woke up.

"Don't know really... I just needed to get out of the library." Takuya answered the Beast Spirit of Fire, getting some looks from people as he walked by. "Why are these people looking at me?" Takuya huffed, trying to ignore the stares.

"I mean... You are kind of talking to yourself, remember? Probably think you're crazy." Agnimon answered his question. Takuya hummed in thought, continuing down the street of Magnolia. The feeling of being watched came back causing Takuya to look over his shoulder. Seeing nothing he continued on. Sensing something behind him, Takuya quickly rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding a green flame bursting by him. Some people, who weren't so lucky, got caught in the fire, their screams echoing through the air.

Takuya flinched at the sound, turning around to face his attacker. His eyes widened at the sight of Cerberumon. Takuya took a step back in shock at the sight of Cerberumon, the Digimon in question snarling angrily at his missed attack.

"What's that bastard doing here?" Vritramon snarled angrily, fuming at the sight of the three-headed Digimon.

"We must've not been the only ones who got sent here... Do you think it's only Cerberumon, or are there possibly more than just him?" Agnimon questioned.

Takuya was quick to attack back at Cerberumon. "Burning Salamander!" He shouted. Takuya's fist got surrounded in fire, in the shape of a dragon, and he launched himself at Cerberumon. Cerberumon snarled and quickly leaped out of his way.

His fist collided with a ground, causing an explosion and a crater to appear. "We meet again, Warrior of Fire." Cerberumon snarled. "I have no hopes for losing this time. I'll make sure to kill you and your friends."  The Digimon bared his fangs, crouching low. He then opened his mouth, emerald fire gathering in his throat. "Emerald Blaze!" The colored fire blasted towards Takuya, who dodged at the last second.

"Damn..." Takuya muttered, pushing himself up. Takuya looked behind himself and saw a building collapse in on itself, fire surrounding the area. Taking a deep breath, Takuya turned to glare at Cerberumon. Fire surrounded Takuya as he raised his hands, pointing them straight at the demon dog. "Fire Darts!" Fire balls started to shoot at Cerberumon, colliding and causing another explosion around the two.

The civilians, who hasn't been killed yet by Cerberumon, ran and screamed for their lives. Cerberumon lunged for Takuya, his claws outstretched. "Salamander Break!" Takuya spun, causing a fire to surround him, before he landed a devastating kick on Cerberumon, just as he was about to sink his claws into Takuya's flesh. Cerberumon flew, colliding with a lamppost.

While Cerberumon recovered, Takuya attacked quickly. "Salamander Kick!" Takuya ran forward, his dominate leg catching on fire. He kicked Cerberumon again, sending him flying farther away.

"Damn you..." Cerberumon snarled, pushing himself onto his four legs. He glared Takuya down in anger. Takuya went to attack again when a voice caused him and Cerberumon to both stop.

"What the hell are you both doing! Don't you see you're destroying the town!" Takuya looked towards the voice and caught sight of a short older male. Cerberumon snarled at the elderly man.

"Mind your own business, you old rat." Cerberumon snapped angrily, moving to attack him. Takuya reacted quickly and moved in front of the elderly male, moving to attack, fire surrounding him. However, Cerberumon was faster and blinding pain filled Takuya. "Shouldn't have tried to protect him, Warrior." Cerberumon snarled, turning back towards the old man.

A dark look crossed his face before he started growing in size. He kept growing until he stood taller than even the housing of the city. Cerberumon and Takuya looked shocked before the once short male grabbed Cerberumon and threw him. "Who are you calling old!" He shouted, an irked mark appearing on his forehead, as Cerberumon went flying out of town.

The man soon shrunk and turned towards Takuya, who was holding his chest. Blood seeped through his fingers and onto the ground. "That doesn't look good. We should head back to my guild and get you checked up." He spoke. "Hm... I'll be right back."

With that he disappeared down the street, leaving Takuya there to bleed out. "Takuya!" Kouichi shouted as he ran up, Junpei not far behind.

"Holy shit..." Junpei exclaimed in shock, staring at the blood on the ground. "What happened?" He looked towards Takuya, who was slowly drifting out of consciousness.

"Cerberumon..." He muttered, closing his eyes. Exhaustion spread through his body, his eyes suddenly feeling heavy.

"Takuya, keep your eyes opened." Kouichi urged, fearing for his friend.

"Please... Don't tell Kouji... Really do....n't wanna be l...ectured or yelled at." Takuya grunted, opening his eyes slightly.

Cerberumon grunted as he landed in the forest with a sickening thud, pain lacing his body. He forced himself to stand up, pain lacing his front right leg. "Stupid old man... I was so close to my revenge." Cerberumon paced in the small clearing that he landed in. "Whatever it doesn't matter. The Warrior of Fire shouldn't survive that wound." A shiver of deranged glee shot up Cerberumon's spine as he thought of that. A grin of glee spread towards his face. "Even though I wanted him to suffer first, his death will quench my thirst for revenge. At least for now. Next will be the rest of those damn Warriors."

Cerberumon started to walk through the forest, no end of the greenery in sight. He stopped when he heard a noise close by and looked towards it, although he didn't see anything. However, soon a voice echoed around him, pulling him into a trance. As he listened to the words that echoed through his mind, his facial expression shifted multiple times. His grin of glee turning into a snarl of anger, before his hackles pulled back into a smirk, before he started to laugh manically.

"Alright... I'll help you."
