October,

"Okay... Okay, you wanna know what I really think?!" Tori exclaimed, looking as if she was ready to pounce at any given second. Sikowitz, who was in front of her and holding the same script Tori was, glanced down at the clipped papers.

"Lana, put the fork down! Just put it... down." He said, giving as much emotion as Tori was. Currently, Tori was practicing for a movie audition that Sikowitz had gotten her. We had gone to his class for lunch and now I was sat in my usual chair, watching Tori.... do whatever she thought she was doing up on the stage.

The door creaked open, and Cat quietly came in, holding her purple giraffe stuffie.

"You wanna know what makes me sick?!" Tori yelled, and Cat walked down the aisle of the chairs - completely oblivious to what they were doing. "Is it eating tuna fish on a Ferris wheel?" She asked and we all stared at her. "Cuz, I did that once and I threw up on a bird."

I sucked in a breath, shaking my head as I looked back at the college application I was filling out. "Shhh!!!" Sikowitz shushed her, "She's rehearsing a scene." He said, and I nodded my head for Cat to sit down in the empty chair beside me.

Tori looked back at her script, "Yeah, my father's a deadbeat! But you can't make me blame him for what I am 'cuz you're the one who did this to me!" She cried, swinging her hand that held the script down. "You're garbage!" She bellowed, before bringing her hand to her face and doing the most fakest, passionless cry, I had ever seen.

She crouched over, covering her face as she 'wailed', my eyes widening in amusement. I had to bite my lip in order not to laugh right then and there. Obviously Sikowitz and Cat didn't think to do that, because they both busted out in laughter - either not bothering to hide the fact that they were laughing at Tori.

Tori slowly rose back up, her eyebrows furrowing at their laughter, "What? What's so funny?" She looked at me and I sighed, looking at her with a wry smile.

Cat smiled at her, "You. The scene you were doing."

Sikowitz leaned forward as he snickered, getting red in the face. "Right? Wasn't it ridiculous? " He pointed at Tori. He clapped his hands, another wave of laughter hitting him.

I looked at them with an amused smile, "Guys..." I muttered, signaling for them to stop.

Tori's face scrunched up in a scowl, "Oh sure, go ahead, laugh at my acting!" She sent them a harsh glare, pouting as she sat down.

Sikowitz stood up, "Ohhh, Tori... We're not laughing at your acting... We're laughing.." He crossed his arms, busting out into laughter again, "because of your acting!" He cackled and I shook my head.

"What scene were you doing?" Cat asked.

"It's for a role in a movie." She answered, "... About a teenager whose parents send her to a home for troubled girls." She shrugged.

"Oh." She murmured, "One time my brother went to a home for troubled girls." She revealed. I swear, anything I learn about Cat's brother is so random... and unwanted.

"Why?" I asked, glancing at Tori - her expression mirroring mine closely.

"To meet troubled girls." She shrugged, like it meant nothing.

Sikowitz sat back down, facing Cat. "Y'know, bus stations are good for that." He told her.

"Hey!" Tori shot up from the crate. "My audition is next Tuesday!"

"So?" Sikowitz asked, looking at her.

Tori threw her hands up, "So tell me what was so bad about my acting in the scene!"
