Boruto never understood the true concept of Love- or what they all referred as "Romantic Love", for love had many dimensions of its own; Mother's love, father's love- loving your siblings or affection of a dear friend
affection. All were different dimensions- of the same concept: "Love".
The only understanding of it he had was that from those romantic movies his mother, sister- and Sarada once watched, and as a 13- year old, he thought that it was all about flowers and chocolates and kisses

Never he knew he could be so wrong.

Now at 16- still young to love but his experiences had forced him to mature sooner than he liked, he knew what real love was. It was not a melodramatic movie- it was simple yet hard to find. It was all about supporting, respecting and protecting one another, from the world or one's own demons- to such an extent that you became fearless and stronger than your own demons.
And that true lovers were never apart- their love had bound their hearts aeons ago, and so distance never mattered.

True love was what made one a human-
And a demon too.

And as Boruto looked down upon the destroyed Konoha from top of that special Hokage mountain- that was now in ruins itself-
The Uzumaki- at 16 had realized he had forever been in love with Uchiha Sarada.
And she had loved him too.
Even when they were now far apart;
Even now that she was gone.
