I couldnt believe the shit my childhood best friend was telling me.

"look at me and tell me if you regret it" he says

"I cant" I tell him

" Cause you don't" he says

I didn't say anything so he grabs my face and has me look at him.

I good see just from the look he was giving me he was upset and getting pissed at me.

"that night that I fucked you and made love to you wasn't out of pity, wasn't cause shit was going ass up for the club and I needed release. " he says

I licked my lips.

"that night was something I should've done a long time ago. cause then I'd had you as my ol'lady, my wife, and carrying my child like I hope you are right now" he says

"what about your wife?" I asked

"ex. Lowen confirmed the divorce was final today" he says

"so where do you want to go now?" I asked

"I want to be with you. I fucking love you and I enjoy being one with you. when I'm with you I'm grounded I'm not straying or thinking irrationally. I'm level headed and I think clearly and very smart." he says

"think Gemma will be pissed if you marry me?" I asked

his pissed-off look disappeared and he started smiling.

"no. in fact I know she'd be very happy that I finally got my head out of my ass and told you how I feel about you. how I felt for the longest damn time" he says

I pull him to me.

"then let's skip it all and just get married" I suggest

He smirks.

"Are you proposing?" he asked

"marry my Jackson. be my husband, the father to my kids, be my ol'man, my love, my other half" I tell him

He let my face go and pulled me closer to him pressing his nose against mine crushing them together as he started kissing me before pulling back.

"of course Darlin" he says

I jump into his arms cup his face and start kissing him again.

I wasn't sure how things from that night would've turned out for Jax and me but I am happy to say that this outcome beats what I had feared.
