Haunted

Chapter one

We were finally moving to our new house in rockchester. I've been waiting so long , our old house is so boring. School just ended so I get to spend the summer in Rockchester before school starts at spring brook elementary school. In the summers in buffalo I usually have nothing to do so this year hopefully everything will be different. My big brother Charlie told me he is going to find a party to go to to meet some new people before the school year starts. He's good at making friends. I on the other hand am not. He's usually really protective of me but for some reason he said I could come.

"Emma" yells my mom "It's time for dinner"

This is our last dinner in the old house and I'm not even sad,  I'm actually so glad we're leaving. Charlie's sad though because he's 16 and has a girlfriend he has to leave but luckily I'm only 12 and haven't started dating yet.

 I fly downstairs hungry from the day's events and ask my mom what she made for dinner."Pasta and broccoli she calls" 

ew i hate broccoli

 "and hotdogs" she adds.That brightens me up a bit because it's my favorite.

As soon as we finish dinner I rush to see I have everything packed.It will be a long car ride tomorrow so I packed a lot of stuff to do. My phone, diary,  i-pod , and I almost forgot, my earphones. I'm going to need those on a 12 hour car ride.I sit on my bed the only thing thats left in my room and close my eyes dreaming of our new house and the memories to come. Thinking just that I fall asleep under my blue and white comforter.
