V A L E R I E S P O V I woke up earlier than usual so i decided to use it to my advantage.I got a good 20 minutes of studying in for my calculus test today before Macey and Reeve woke up. "Val..you need to make us breakfast."Reeve states "We've got no milk or cereal..you'll have to go to the Gallaghers for breakfast."I explain "Okay then."Macey smiled as she ran off to get dressed.Our house?Cramped to fuck. I shared a room with Macey,Reeve got his own since he's the the only boy and my mom has her own room.I wore a pair of jeans,a cropped grey sweater lace cami under it and my converse,i grabbed my coat and school bag before doing my hair and brushing my teeth. "You two got all your shit?"I asked "Uh huh."They both replied "Let's go then.."I spoke as i opened the front door,the cold breeze hit me as we crossed the street towards the Gallaghers. "Hey,you guys up yet?"I questioned "Mhm."Fiona's voice responded "Oh hey."I laughed.She handed Reeve and Macey some cereal and they began eating it like there was no tomorrow. "Jesus,you two hungry?"Lip asks "Our fridge looks like Debs school record."I explain "What does that mean?"Debbie questions "Empty."I smirk "Electric."Fiona says as she put the box they collect all there money in on the kitchen table "I've got ten bucks."I said as i placed it in the box "Fourty cents."Reeve says as he drops some change into the box "Two bucks."Macey spoke as she shoved some crumpled bills into the box. The box got passed around the table,everyone putting there spare money into it. "Field trip,i need Franks signature."Ian says as he hands me a letter "You need to learn how to do forge this yourself Gallagher.I can do it better than you and he ain't even my pops."I said as i wrote Franks signature on the letter "Who's got the phone?"Fiona asks "I got it,14 minutes left."Lip says as he throws the phone Fiona's way "I need something for show and tell."Debbie speaks up "How much are short?"Fiona questions "18 dollars and thirty cents."Debbie responds "I'm tutoring after school."Lip explains "Somebody's gotta take Liam."Fiona spoke "Me and Val can't,calculus test."Lip stated "Work after school."Ian says "Show and tell?"Debbie asks "Here Debs take this,you can't lose it though okay?Its the only thing i've got that's worth something."I say as i handed her my necklace "Thanks."She smiled "You coming?"Lip asks "Yeah.Reeve,Mace let's go!"I yelled.Me,Lip and Ian walked to our school Debbie,Macey,Carl and Reeve towards theres. "You get any studying done with you having to work?"Lip questions "I got twenty minutes in this morning..that counts right?"I smirk "You'll pass..don't worry."Lip says as he picked up some random kids bike "Get on the back."He laughs "Hey that's my bike!"A kid yelled "Atleast we won't be late now."I spoke "Valerie."Lip said as he stopped the bike "What..?"I asked.I knew this was serious since Lip only called me Valerie when something was. "That's your dad right.."He whispered pointing to a guy across the street "The fuck..he's not due out for another 2 years."I explain "Parole?"Lip suggests "He was involved with a murder Phillip."I say "Hey..Valerie,is that you..?"He spoke as he began crossing the street "Dad what are you doing.Your supposed to be in jail."I said "Let me out early."He smiles,then he turned to Lip. "Your Franks son right?Ian..or is it uh Carl?"My dad questions "I'm Lip."He explains "Oh-Right." "Look dad i don't know where the fuck mom is so don't ask me..she's been gone for like a week now? I last saw her up Bishy."I explain "Come on we need to go."Lip spoke as he continued biking "Mhm."I replied "The fuck is Bishy..?"Lip questions "Oh it's the corner on Bishop..we call it Bishy though."I laugh. Despite my dad being in jail for a lot of my life he was 100 times better than my mom and ild pick him over her any day. He didn't do drugs but he was a alchy. TIME SKIP: 05:37 PM School got out around two hours ago,Macey and Reeve where inside,i don't know where dad went and my mom was still no where to be found.I was sat on the porch smoking a cig when i caught Lip waking by "Hey!Lip."I said "Oh hey,whatcha doing?"He asks "Nothing..just bored."I explain as i began walking towards his house with him "Spoke to your dad yet?"Lip questions as he took a drag on my cigarette "He ain't even home..the little cunt."I groan "I think it's really funny when you say cunt,can hear your british accent coming through."Lip smirked as he began to laugh "Oh fuck you Gallagher."I sigh.Ever since Lip found out my dad was like half british or some shit when we where both like 12 and i had a bit of a accent so he loved pissing me off about it. "How did tutoring go?"I asked as we entered Lips room which he shared with Carl and Ian. "Hey."Ian spoke "Thought you had work?"I asked as i put my cig out "I did.Then i had training after."Ian explains "Okay."I reply.Around two hours had passed,me and Lip where talking,Carl was sleeping and Ian was listening to music. "I need a piss two secs."I spoke to break the silence as i jumped down from Lips bed. "How thrilling Valerie."Ian smirked "Shut up carrot top i know where the bat is in this house."I laughed.I could hear Lip and Ian talking.I came back into the room and Lip was sat on the dresser besides Ian's bed and Ian was smoking. "You two have come to life.."I smirked as i sat down on the floor.That's when Lip stood up and pulled out Ian's magazine. We heard Fiona and Veronica so we all headed downstairs "Hey."V says "Hi."Carl responded "How many of you live here?"The random guy asked who was getting a wound cleaned up by V "I'm one down."Veronica explains "I'm across the street but i'm here more anyways.."I spoke The guy reached his hand out to Carl for him to shake "Steve."He introduced himself "Carl."He smiled as he shook it "Lip."Lip spoke as he raised his beer bottle "Debbie." "Val."I say "Plus Ian."Fiona says referring to Ian who had just came down the stairs "Hey Debbie why do they call him Lip?"Steve asks "He's real name is Phillip."I explain.Then Kevin entered. "Kev..you seen my dad,or my mom..?"I asked "Nope,they haven't been to the alibi-Hold up your dads in jail?"Kevin says confused "He got out,we saw him this morning."Lip explains "Oh no shit?"Fiona spoke "Uh huh." Carl got ahold of my beer some how so i snatched it back "Not until your 12 Carl."I smirked "Okay time for bed all of you,move move."Fiona said "Hey Lip,i'm going home..see you tomorrow."I spoke "See you."He smiled "Kev if you see my mom you fuckin call me i don't care what hour it is,you call.She's got some explaining to do."I state "What's your mom done?"Steve asks "She went out a week ago,never came home..i've got two younger siblings and i've got better shit to do then look after them whilst she's doing benders."I explain "I'll call ya if i do kiddo,now get some sleep.."Kevin spoke "Call me if you need anything alright." Veronica says "You think i've got money on my phone V?"I smirked "See ya."Fiona says "Bye."I spoke as i closed the front door THE NEXT DAY "Lip home?"I asked as i entered and saw Debbie sat on the sofa "Nope..him and Ian should be home in like ten minutes or something."Debbie explains.Lip and Ian got back and Lip had fucked up his foot,i couldn't tell Ian was lying about what happened but i would just get them to tell me after Fiona,Carl and Debbie left there room.Veronica came over to help out with Lips foot,she knew her medical shit i guess.She sent Ian to her place to get some stuff and Fiona and Carl went to answer the door. "What did you do Lip?"I asked "I can't tell you right now.."He spoke inbetween grunting due to the pain.I helped him down the stairs and that's when we saw a new washer getting hooked up. "The fuck?Aren't you guys like broke..?"I ask "That's what i said."Ian smiled.There was some flowers inside off Steve which meant he bought it. "Anything at all from my mom?Any of you seen her?"I questioned "I saw your mom on Bundy with a bottle in her hand."Carl spoke up "What-When was this..?"I ask "About..a hour ago."Carl explains "Fuck..i'll be back soon i'm going to find her.Can one of you go check on the kids?"I question "I'll go over and check on them Val."Ian spoke as he grabbed his coat "Thanks."I smiled "Be careful!"Lip yelled "I will."I replied.
I A N S P O V "Macey!Reeve..!"I yelled as i entered Vals house through the back "Ian.Hey."Reeve smiled "You two alright?"I questioned "Mhm,just starving."Macey explains "You guys wanna come over for dinner?I think Fiona's boyfriend is getting us white castle."I smile "Sure..but where's Val?"Reeve asks "She's went out to go and find your mom."I explain "She's upstairs in bed..she came home like twenty minutes ago,she didn't say anything.Just walked past us."Macey states "Shit..go over to my place and just say that i told you to wait there."I spoke "Alright."Reeve responded I ran down to Bundy where Val would be looking for her mom. "Val!Come on..you need to go home,your moms there Macey and Reeve said."I explain.We both ran down the block and Val shoved the door open and went straight to her moms room. "Your a total bitch..you've been gone a week,a week!And what have you been doing,drinking wasting my hard earned money whilst i've been working and looking after you're kids!"Val yelled
L I P S P O V "What the fuck..is that Val?"I said in confusion as i heard her familiar voice yelling "Probably..our moms home."Macey spoke "Holy shit..this again."Fiona sighed as she stood up.Me,FionaSteve,Veronica and Kevin the whole bunch of us headed into Vals house.The younger kids stayed at home since we didn't want them seeing this shit go down.When we headed upstairs where Ian was trying to calm Valerie down i could see how hurt she was in her eyes. "How do you think i feel when your children are wondering where you are and asking me..when your getting home? You went out drinking on the 11th..it's the fucking 20th!"Val shouted "I'm sorry..."Her mom groaned "I spent money from my own pocket on christmas presents for the kids.So you owe me." Valerie explains "You fucking owe me!"She yells "Come on Val.."I spoke as i grabbed her arm "Your a little fucking bitch!"Val shouted as she headed downstairs
