05 (𝙎𝙝𝙚/𝙃𝙚𝙧)

Dabi's Pov:

I sat on the edge on her bed. A soft breath escaping me "..So, about what Jin said. He isn't necessarily wrong. I do find myself staring at you and focusing on you. I keep telling myself it's too soon but when I'm around you I feel so light. When I carried you to bed last night I- I almost didn't want to let you go. The way you leaned into me for support.. I felt happy. I know it hasn't been long, but I do like you and not in the platonic way. I completely understand if you say no and all but-" I looked to the floor for a bit as I spoke, soon looking over at her. Her expression seemed so soft and there was something else but soon a quick kiss was placed on my lips.

I paused, my face heating up a bit as I tried to find my words. I was expecting literally everything but this. I stammered a bit only to stop once I saw the female before me speak in a shy like tone.

Your POV:

I had shifted to sit in my bed once Dabi had sat down. I looked to the side in a shy manner before I listened to the other start to speak. So, he felt the same way? My air hitched in my throat; this was like a fairytale. My expression was soft and filled with adoration, soon I couldn't contain myself. I quickly kissed the other, despite the burns on his lower lip, his lips were soft only just a little bit rough. Taking a deep breath, I spoke though I didn't expect my voice to end up sounding so shy.

"Dabi, I- feel the same way. I feel so light around you and I feel so safe, even if I'm just sitting next to you. I know it's fast paced but I wouldn't mind giving us a try. I do want to know more about you so before it gets too big into titles lets focus on the small things like little dates, simple kisses or even cuddles. Well, if you like being touched but from what you said earlier, I guess I assumed.."

I trailed off, my (E/C) hues soon meeting with the burned males bright blue ones. They seemed like an ocean with the sun reflecting off the surface. So calm yet so mysterious like there was a whole other side of him. I couldn't help but get closer, there was a faint smell of pine and what almost smelled like a campfire coming off him that was just so alluring. I gently reached up to caress his cheek before leaning in a bit.

2nd Person:

You were hesitant at first but soon those hesitant thoughts were pulled away, Dabi's hand found its way to your lower back as his other hand cupped your cheek. Soon you were pulled into a sweet kiss, your eyes fluttered shut. Soon, you broke the kiss before looking to the burned other "What will the others think?" You muttered under your breath, soon stuffing your face in the crook of Dabi's neck. Dabi hummed a bit, pulling you into a gentle embrace before sighing. "Who cares, flame? I just want to see you safe and happy I don't care if others complain."

"You owe me twenty bucks Compress!" A hyper voice came from behind the closed door. Toga definitely. "I really didn't want to just assume. I really shouldn't have put so much into this bet." A disappointed voice followed, confirming that it was Compress. "Honestly honey I don't see how you didn't realize it was bound to happen. Better luck next time, hm?" And... there's Magne.

Dabi's POV:

I sighed upon hearing the voices, groaning before covering my dear (Y/M)'s ears. "If you're trying to eavesdrop don't be so fucking loud! You're lucky I don't burn your asses alive!" after I heard departing footsteps, I uncovered her ears. Soon placing a soft kiss to her forehead.

"If they won't stop teasing you, tell me okay? I'll roast their asses with no hesitation, okay?" A soft smile went to my face as I looked to the other god she was just so.. perfect. I wouldn't change a damn thing about her. Hearing her yawn I couldn't help but chuckle, shifting to lay down with the other I pulled the blanket over her and ran my fingers though her (H/L), (H/C) hair.

Your POV:

I was getting a bit too comfortable in the others hold, I yawned a bit and started to drift off without meaning to. I made a soft noise at the blanket being pulled over but that's what finally convinced me to take a small nap. Snuggling up to the burned male I allowed myself to be succumbed by slumber, a soft breath escaping my lips as everything went black.

I haven't slept this well in ages..
