Chapter 56: Lou Feng

In the palace, Lou Jing stormed to see Lou Feng excitedly.

“Feng, I heard Lin Feiyu has come. Was he here to send you the cultivating formations?” asked Lou Jing eagerly.

Lou Feng shook his head, “Feiyu said he went to ask for the formations from Lou Yu but got rejected because of Mo Fei!”

Lou Jing frowned, saying grumpily, “Mo Fei? You mean that bumpkin our Mother Consort has betrothed to Lou Yu?”

Lou Feng nodded, “Yeah, it’s him. Feiyu said Lou Yu has already agreed. But this Mo Fei didn’t agree, so Lou Yu made an excuse and took back his words.”

Lou Jing frowned, “Oh no! That Mo Fei is just a guy from a no-one-has-ever-heard-of place who got rejected like a hundred times. Why would Lou Yu listen to him?”

“It looks we have belittled this Mo Fei. There are a lot of rumors about this Mo Fei on the Star website. Someone said he had premarital pregnancy, someone said he has got tuberculosis and won’t live long, someone even said he has serious hircismus that could kill people, and a lot of people said he is intolerable to the eyes…But, in fact, Mo Fei is kind of cute who plays the piano well and even gets the better of Lin Feiyu.” said Lou Feng.

Lou Jing knitted his brows and said, “Is it possible those rumors were made up by those who are jealous of him marrying Lou Yu?”

Lou Feng shook his head, “Those rumors were already there before he married Lou Yu. Our Mother Consort immediately nailed the marriage between Mo Fei and Lou Yu only because she saw those rumors only to disgust Lou Yu.”

“But where did those rumors come from?” asked Lou Jing.

“Mo Fei made them up himself.” said Lou Feng, face darkened.

“Himself? Why would he make up so many rumors to slander himself?” asked Lou Jing with all question marks on her face.

Lou Feng took a deep breath, “To be rejected. Mo Fei is not favored in his family, but he has a pretty face, so the madam of Mo family plans to marry him to some big family for social connections. The madam of Mo family is not Mo Fei’s biological mother, so the dates she set for Mo Fei were all not so good. So Mo Fei tried all means to defame himself in order not to marry any of them.”

Lou Jing’s face also darkened, “It looks this Mo Fei is really something.”

Lou Feng nodded, “Yeah! Never expected after a careful selection, our Mother Consort would pick such a tough one.”

Lou Jing then said sullenly, “How even capable he is, he is just a clodhopper from the countryside. What does he know? Having offended Feiyu, he even wouldn’t know how he is gonna die.”

Lou Feng nodded, “You are right! Maybe Lou Yu turned Feiyu down not because of Mo Fei. He just took him as an excuse.”

Lou Jing then said with her brows knitted, “If so, it might not be true that those people out there all said Lou Yu’s love for Lin Feiyu is as deep as the sea.”

Lou Feng clenched his fists, “But Lou Yu had been seriously sick for a whole month after being dumped by Feiyu that year.”

Lou Jing smiled regrettably, “You know, men are all disobliging thing! With new love, they will certainly forget about the ex. In the future Lin Feiyu’s influence on Lou Yu would become weaker and weaker.”

It hadn’t been that Lou Yu was too heartbroken for Lin Feiyu, those people they sent to assasult Lou Yu couldn’t have succeeded so easily. Although Lou Yu successfully promoted to a higher grade, his aptitude had greatly decreased.
