Darius: what happened

Luz: umm ya know Hunter-

Darius: what about hunter? What's happened?!

Luz: he kinda appeared at the owl house bleeding, like alot...

Darius: WHAT!?!

Raine: whats going on

Darius: Raine im going to the owl house! I'll be back soon

Raine: why??

Luz: hunter...

Raine: huh?

Luz: he came to the owl house bleeding alot... Idk what happened to him but I don't think it was from a mission...

Darius: open the door human

Luz: damn your here fast-

Darius: DOOR

Luz: calm down I'm literally running

(Changing into story mode lol)

-Luzs POV-

I opened the door to see Darius, he generally looked really worried

"Where's hunter?!" He asked in a hurried tone
"He's here" I turned around to see eda sitting on the floor next to Hunter, hooty apperantly saw hunter approaching the owl house covered in blood, he brought him in where eda then looked after him.

Darius walked in and went to hunter, feeling his heart beat and forehead

"He's fine don't worry..." Eda says looking at Darius
"He better be!"

"Hmpfh" hunter started to move, I slowly went up to him and sat down in the space on the couch that was free
"Sit up slowly hunter" eda said placing a hand on hunters back
"OW!" Eda slowly sat hunter up and looked at him

-Hunters POV-

"What happened hunter" I was confused, I didn't know where I was
"Hunter.. answer please" I looked to where I heard the voice, it was Darius
"Da-daruis?"
"Yes, it's me" he put his hand on my shoulder, I yelped and he took his hand off
"Hunter what happened...I'll ask you again" that was edas vocie
"N-No" I went to stand up but I fell down onto the floor
"Flap?" I looked around but I couldn't see flapjack anywhere
"FLAP?!" I attempted to stand up again, I fell over but someone caught me

"Flapjacks okay hunter" it was Luz, I looked up at her ?hazel? eyes and then did something I rarely ever do, and never Infront of people, I started to cry, luz didnt react in a mad or annoyed way, she just lifted me up and placed her arms around me
"I-i want fl-ap" I was trying to stop crying but I couldn't
"He's resting, he was a bit injured too, only small cracks, I fixed him up tho so don't worry bad but sad boy" that just made me more panicked, flapjack got injured! How tho... He wasn't in the room with me and belos when he attacked me...

Luz brought me back over to the couch and sat me down, Darius then sat next to me

"What happened! I won't ask again hunter" he said kind of yelling at me, he wasn't like yelling but you could tell he wanted too
"Not infront of them please"
"You want us to leave?" Luz asked, I nodded and so they left

"Now hunter we're alone... Please tell me"
"I-" I couldn't tell him that belos did this
"I just failed a mission and got punished that's all, don't worry" Darius just looked at me shocked
"DONT WORRY?!" He yelled, I flinched and he then calmed himself down
"Hunter, this isn't good... Belos can't do this to you, this is child abuse"
"No-no it's not... It's punishment"
"Hunter, this is child abuse, not punishment" he looked at me "why didn't you say something sooner?"
"I-i was scared... And no one listens anyway... The scouts just say 'whatever' or 'cool' and just walk away..."
"I'm here aren't I?" I looked at Darius and started crying, he brought me close and hugged me, I just sobbed into his shirt, I was worried he might freak out cause ya know he doesn't like getting his clothes dirty or whatever, but he didn't seem to care...

-Luzs POV-

I peeped my head through the doorway to see hunter asleep in Darius arms, it was a cute sight, I've never seen Darius  be so nice...

"He really does have a soft spot for that kid huh?" Eda said smirking
"Yeah he does..." I smiled at the sight
"How did this happen anyway"
"I don't know" I said "but whatever caused it he better stay away from"
"Mhm"
