Your POV

You flopped onto your couch, pulling your phone out of your pocket and pressing the power button. 14 missed calls, 32 new messages. You blinked in disbelief a few times.

"Who in the fuck...?" You began quietly as you unlocked your phone.

You quickly answered your own question, however, as you recognized the number. You laughed silently as you opened your messages, reading through all of the messages your friend had sent you while you were at work.

< F/N: Are you fuckin ignoring me? >
< F/N: Answer me you asshole >:( >

You snorted quietly at your friend. Gotta love their brand of "affectionate" nicknames for you. You scrolled down further into the more recent messages from them.

< F/N: Okay genuinely (Y/N) where are you >
< F/N: Are you dead?? >
< F/N: You better not be dead >
< F/N: (Y/N) this isn't funny >
< F/N: I'm going to call the cops if you don't fucking respond>
< You: Bro chill, I'm not dead >
< F/N: YOU BITCH >
< F/N: WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU >
< F/N: YOU FUCKING DICK I WAS SOBBING >
< F/N: I THOUGHT YOU DIED >
< You: I'm sorryyyy 😭 I was at work >

You couldn't help but chuckle at this. In your sheer excitement and shock at your new-found job, you had completely forgotten to tell your friend about it. This was gonna be fun.

< You: Since today :P >
< F/N: AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?? >
< You: Bitch I was busy, what do you want from me 😭 >
< F/N: Where do you even work, anyway? >
< You: You know that new Freddy Fazbear location? >
< F/N: The Superplex?? >
< You: Yeah, I'm the Daycare Manager >
< F/N: Oh god, you poor soul lmfao >
< You: It's honestly not that bad! The animatronic there's a sweetheart too tbh >
< F/N: Oi, no fuckin the animatronics >

Your face immediately contorted into one of disgust and confusion.

< You: EW WTF NO??? >
< F/N: BAHAHA i'm just joking dumbass >
< You: Still though 😟 >
< F/N: I couldn't imagine working with kids all day tbh, that just seems like a nightmare >
< You: Eh, it's not that bad tbh >
< F/N: Yet >
< You: Lmao true >
< F/N: Well, to celebrate your successful employment, I'll stop by tomorrow and give you some gifts >
< You: yo fr? You don't have to do that dude- >
< F/N: Too bad fucker, you're getting gifts >

You smiled at this. As much of a little shit as they could be, they were still sweet when they wanted to be.

< You: Thanks dude. Cya tomorrow, love ya >
< F/N: Love you too, bitch <3 >

As you finished your conversation with your friend, you got a message from your manager, Rebecca.

< Rebecca: Hey, good job today. You did great for your first day. >

You felt your heart swell. You were already getting praised by your manager? You really did hit the jackpot of jobs!

< You: I didn't really do much to be fair, but thank you ma'am :) >
< Rebecca: Just call me Rebecca, please. >
< Rebecca: Sun definitely seems to like you. Just thought you should know. I'll see you tomorrow. >

Well, that was definitely nice to hear!

< You: See you then, Rebecca! >

You shut your phone back off and placed it beside you, staring up at your ceiling with a smile. Yeah, this was DEFINITELY the change of pace you wanted.

We were gonna write Sun's POV after the reader left in addition to the text scenes, but we have literally no ideas for it. We may write a Chapter 2.75 for when we finally get ideas for it since we really wanna include it, haha ~Lila☂️💜
