There was once a puppet. He'd lay in a box collecting dust. His only purpose was for entertainment, that was until he was replaced with a new doll. She had blonde hair and golden yellow eyes that shimmered with the peoples smiles. Her pink dress made the children's eyes soften. It was like a cherry on top.
The puppet was jealous and envied the doll, but even he knew it wasn't her fault. The master chose her, after all the puppet was quite warn out from all of his use. He slowly fell in love with the doll, but his love was never found. He was hidden from her view, from her touch. All he could do was watch.
One day the master had decided to sell the puppet, he was heartbroken at the thought of never seeing the doll again. So he did the last thing he could, he sang. His old voice rang full of life as he sang a sweet melody while being carried out of the shop. The doll didn't know where it came from as the song faded. With that she had sang that melody at every show she attended, in hopes of finding the voice who once sang it.
