If I was a tree for a day,
At my roots I would want you to lay.
Only you, would I let pick my fruits, the rest left to decay.
I would shelter your body from the scorching sun.
Only you are allowed under these branches, hun.
I would still be the person with no words
But I would excel in the listening
aspect.
