Chapter One: He's Back

I can't believe it! Albert's back after a year! I'm so excited! Y/N would walk over to Albert only to see him being beaten up by a group of kids. She would yell at the group, " Please stop! Leave him alone!" only to be punched in the face by a boy who was older than her. She would look down at the blood which had now stained her F/C blouse. She was always horrified at the sight of blood, ever since she saw what had happened at Albert's home a year ago. She would look for Albert, yet couldn't find him. That's when she saw him pinning the boy against the wall while choking him. Yet something was off about Albert. She would open her backpack and take out an article on how a year ago, this lab would take orphans and do tests on them to make them man-eating demons. {Demon slayer Referance} but she just thought of it as a coincidence...boy was she wrong... because right by her, Albert had fangs and was devouring the boy who had hurt you. You were fine with it though. You didn't have to go through the pain that he went through. You knew he wasn't in control. So you decided on protecting him. You would go up to him and attempt at calming him down. After a few minutes, he calmed down and shrunk down to 4'3. You were surprised by this but you grabbed a box from the art room and carried the now-sleeping Albert, who felt as light as a feather around the school. You got a few odd glances during class, but school was over for the day so you walked into the now-empty gymnasium, opened the box, and let out Albert. He had gone back to his original side and had regained control of himself. You two were now sitting down on the bleachers, deep in thought.

I can't believe it...I've become a monster...but at least Y/N accepts me for who I am...I feel so guilty that I was gone for a whole year...I should apologize..."Y/N.." I spoke up interrupting the silence "Yeah?" she replied confused "I-I'm sorry that I was gone for so long only to come back as a monster.." I said, holding back tears. 'Don't cry Albert, it's fine." she said resting her head on my shoulder. My face turned a shade of bright pink as she wrapped her hands around my waist, hugging me from the side. Right before I could ask why, she had fallen asleep. I had no idea what to do, but I just kept hearing a voice in my head saying " she's bleeding...She's a human...eat her.." I would just stare at her, debating whether to do it or not. I was now covering my mouth with my hands, just to stop myself from eating her. I realized that my hands were bleeding from me having to cover my mouth with them. I would slowly doze off, my hands still bleeding.
