anyway luz and steven were able to hang out as we now see inside the owls house as luz was on the couch reading her good witch azura
book to king while steven was eating some blood apple juice in a mug as he got used to the drink eda introduced him too.
suddenly the door slammed open making steven jump as he dropped his mug of blood apple juice as it hit the floor. steven groaned as he
now can't drink any apple juice from his mug and went over to the door as luz and king were at as the three look down to see a basket.
STEVEN GRANT/LUZ NOCEDA: Hmm?
steven now in the kitchen along with king and eda puts the basket on the table.
LUZ NOCEDA: eda, you got a package. it looks like a gift basket.
EDA CLAWTHORNE: probably an offering. ah, being the most powerful witch in the
boiling isles has it's perks.
king grunts as he takes off the sheet covering the top part of the basket as it reveals a bat like baby inside sleeping cutely
as it snores.
KING: Mmm, fresh meat.
LUZ NOCEDA: no, not eating that.
STEVEN GRANT: king, that's cannibalism! also that's a baby! *gets out spray and sprays king*

EDA CLAWTHORNE: witches eating babies is so 1693.

EDA CLAWTHORNE: *hands up in defence* whoa steven! i didn't eat babies back then.
also, *suggests to the bat baby* what is this?
STEVEN GRANT: there's a note. *grabs note and reads it* ''take care of my child 'til
morning. yi yi.''
EDA CLAWTHORNE: nope! babies are awful. not happening.
STEVEN GRANT: *reads another part of the note* ''you will be handsomely
rewarded xoxoxox the BAT QUEEN.''
EDA CLAWTHORNE: bat queen? reward?
LUZ NOCEDA: who's the bat queen?
STEVEN GRANT: yeah i would like to know, to be honest.
EDA CLAWTHORNE: she's the wealthiest demon on the boiling isles. get in
with her and you're set for life.
STEVEN GRANT: if you got in, then why do you need to sell human stuff instead?
EDA CLAWTHORNE: because you humans have stuff that people like me
