The dinner went well, and she discovered that the other girls were from the group she was supposed to make her debut with before being held back for the third time.

She watched as they introduced themselves to Sumin: "Hello, I'm Park Iseul, It's nice to meet you." The group leader greeted

Next was the maknae of the group: "Hi! My name is Yun Nari, and it's a pleasure to meet you." The main rapper followed her, saying, "Hey, I'm Choi Seohyeon; it's nice to meet you." The blue-haired female said tensely, then the eldest went last, saying, "Hi, I'm Song Misuk, and it's lovely meeting you." Chaeyeong deadpanned at Misuk's greeting before turning to face the female with whom she had been paired, who smiled brightly at the group of four. "My name is Kim Sumin, and it's a pleasure to meet you all," she said, bowing her head in greeting towards the older females

Chaeyeong was not as awkward with them as she was with her duo, but she was still unsure of how they felt about her after everything. When she saw the groups' maknae excitedly invite her into the conversation, she knew they all still thought positively of the blonde.

Although chaeyeong was a tad preoccupied with telling the maknae and the visual about what's been happening with her her attention seemed to linger on the other member of her duo far longer then she'd like

"chae-ya how getting along with her" the blonde hesitated slightly "I just met her today so we haven't had the opportunity to interact really unnie" the elder ignores the jab opting to look at the mentioned female "hmmm.... well she's definitely cute" the platinum haired elder female said looking back at the younger who was glaring daggers at the taller

Misuk simply smirked already having guessed the darker blondes train of thought regarding her pair "you really need to lighten up chae-ya you know I don't over step"

Nari lets out a gasp as she realizes what has been happening.

"unnie you really shouldn't say that kinda stuff. You were suspended for a month because you were suspected of dating someone who knows how seriously they'll take your jokes after that," the cute maknae stated, scolding the eldest member of her group before turning to chaeyeong. "You should probably go hang out with your partner so you two can get to know each other before you do any work related things!" Nari suggested pushing the female up out of the chair, "but—how do I—" She quickly shut up, seeing no point in arguing with her friend, only glancing back once to glare at the older female who was making a 'call me' gesture with her hands

She walked over to the table where her pair was sitting and asked, "Would you mind if I sat here?" The awkward blonde inquired, her hand gripping the back of the seat tightly, cresses forming on the fabric."Please do," the younger said, warmly flashing another one of those oxygen-stealing smiles, but Chaeyeong noticed it wasn't quite as bright this time. "Maybe she just doesn't like social situations' The elder thought to herself, "You seem quite close with them." The maknae of the pair said

"Ah yeah... I was supposed to be a member of their group, but there were a couple of hiccups, and I got pushed back," the blonde explained as she sat down her hands, fiddling with the frills of her dress.

'chae!!! What are you doing? What if now she thinks you would rather have been with them and that you dislike her?' She panicked internally as she seemed to do a lot because of the pretty female in front of her, whether it be due to not wanting to embarrass herself in front of her or those incredible smiles with eyes that shone just as brightly- "I see," the younger responded dejectedly, and Chaeyeong wanted to cry, knowing she was the cause of such a sad tone "Ah, um, I'm not really very good at this—er, socializing. I mean, but what's a hobby of yours?" The elder asked, looking into the others' eyes and seeing a cheerful glint as her eyes creased with a small smile on her lips. Chaeyeong's stomach tumbled just a little bit. 'maybe we can be friends!' She urged her mind to think positive thoughts "Well, I enjoy reading!" The black haired female responded to which the older lit up, how she loved reading
