Looking up from the register I see my best friend Janiyah coming in. "Oh my goddd , my babyy I miss you alreadyy." She said running up to hug me behind the register. I laughed and hugged her back , "I'm not even gone yet Nini."
She shrugged and sat down two iced coffee's on the counter. "There you go yori."Niyah knows I love my iced coffee and she always brings me one when we work together. Taking a sip I sigh from how cold the coffee was. "Thank you nini , why you not drinking don't you need you yours?"
"Those are both for you they just didn't have bigger sizes so I got you two since I won't be able to bring you coffees for a while." I smiled and thanked her as I sipped on the coffee. It was my last day at work before I moved off to college in Mississippi. I was going to Jackson State to get a degree in Psychology.
"I can't believe todays my last day in Raleigh Nini .. I'm gonna miss you and the town so much." Janiyah was bent over the counter and just sighed. "We gonna miss you too trust me but lets make your last day fun we don't need to mope around." "You right , what you wanna do after work?"
"Let's go to the club , we can go get something to eat go home get ready then meet downtown I'll get you in." I nodded my head agreeing , "Okay we can definitely do that! , ima just need to be home before 4am to sleep it off for at least 3 hours to get on the road." I looked down at my apple watch and saw it was 10:08am. "Nini can you go unlock the door ima clock you in and then go finish inventory till Marie come."
Janiyah nodded and walked towards the door to flip the sign and unlock the door. I went to the back put in her code and then went and got the left over lashes and bundles that needed to be put up. I grabbed the bin and went back into the lobby. I filled some of the shelves then Janiyah came and we split the work.
We finally finished when the bell rung alerting that someone came in. "One second!" I yelled while putting the bin down and dusting my hands off. Walking out I was looking down at my apple watch then greeted whoever came in. "Hello welcome to xclus-" Finally looking up I scrunched up my face.
I immediately turnt around and was walking to find Janiyah when he grabbed my arm and pulled me back. "Let me go Jayden." I said sternly snatching out of his grip. "Why ma , why you gotta act like that?" Facing him he looks like he's innocent.
"Jayden what do you mean why I gotta act like that? , leave me the hell alone." I walked behind the register and sat on the stool. "Yori don't act like that Ian did nothing to you." I folded my arms and looked away. "Janiyah come get your cheating ass cousin out my face. "
Janiyah ran from the back and saw Jayden she shook her head. "Jayden what are you doing here." Janiyah asked standing beside me behind the register. "I came to see my wife at work." Jayden laughed and pulled out his phone. "Pose for me bae."
