Sorry to say this, but he barely has a personality outside of Zander and Hailey.
I understand why people like him and I don't hate him, it's just ever since episode 3, we've seen only seen lovesick Luke, aside from some serious moments. While this is fine, character development can be a little limited. It's accurate for a teenager to do this, where their while personality is their relationship, it just doesn't really feel good for a character.
He's sweet and all but we don't really see much of his true personality anymore. I do like how he helps Jake even when he knows he doesn't have to by telling Hake where Hailey is in episode ten. Because let's be honest, he was really nice to Jake despite his threat about dealing with him if Jake hurts Hailey or Zander. Overall, not a bad character, just like Zander and Hailey, he needs more fleshed out.
