Lauren let out a breath as the day was slowly creeping as the day was tomorrow. That just happened to be the day that "The oni" gang had to be hanging around and practicing for the game.
They weren't so much of a gang though due to always being one if not the biggest help. Lauren was walking to her car when suddenly a ball came flying out of nowhere and hit her window. She turned to see the teenage boys standing there all pointing to the biggest one in the group. "Aratiki Itto right?" She asked calmly. She wasn't angry but a bit disappointed. "Yes ma'am, please don't bring Granny Oni into this" he pleaded.
Itto was a good kid and his grandmother was very sweet and kind whenever she had some trouble she was quick to give a helping hand but she always returned back. He was tall and the Quarterback on the high school team.
"I won't and nothing serious happened just be more careful" she lectured as she handed the football back. "You're a good kid Itto, I hate to see anything bad happen to you, and please remember to carry your allergy med. Itto stood there silently as one of his friends shouted "he totally forgot" and "someone call Shinbo." She stared at him in shock. "Wait did you eat something with beans?" He had to think about it. "No, I feel perfectly fine" he admitted. She put a hand over her heart as she allowed herself to calm down.
"If you ever need anything though I'll come to get you for help" he admitted. She waved them off as they went back to doing whatever it was. "She must be in the hospital again" she stated to herself as she walked to the car. There was a dent in it but she dare not tell them. It was something she could fix if she worked a few odd jobs and commissions. It wasn't a fun thing to think about but it was something she was willing to do by her own hands.
She didn't notice it but Itto stared over at the car as she went inside. "Guys, I think we did something" Itto admitted as one tackled another. "Should we check it out?" One asked. "Wouldn't be a bad idea but we can't make it obvious and we shouldn't tell Shinbou" "tell me what?"
Everyone shrieked as they were practically on the other side of the yard. "Well... um as you see" they then explained as Shinbou shook her head. "I came over to bring you your medicine and closely threw it at her car" she stated calmly. They rather have her yell. "You two better work your butts off or so help me" she stated as clenched her fist. "we already plan to don't worry" Itto reassured. "Good and I won't be giving a single thing" she admitted.
