Backstory Info
It was only natural I'd be a telepath, coming from a lineage of powerful telepaths. What I did not expect, was the extent of my mutation. My power is well- tattoos. My body is usually covered in a few tattoos, the gems on my face are permanently fixed. The tattoos on my skin determine the future, and constantly change based on future events, and which path we're heading down. I'm too young to be covered head to toe in ink. I hate it. I feel like people give me weird looks all the time, granted I'm thirteen with full body ink, but I never asked for this. This may be due to being the daughter of the first born Mutant Post M-Day, though I wish I was normal. I could get on with my odd power negations, and synchronizing, but shapeshifting tattoos? Come on... I tend to wear long sleeves and pants because I hate looking at them, they stress me out so much...
My odd mimic powers allow me to be in vicinity of another mutant to copy them without touch, and can draw upon their powers on and off in combat. There's no limit to how much I can copy, but using so many at one time makes me sick as a dog. I'm immune to others copying my powers, they simply aren't able to. I can synchronize my powers with other mutants, being able to stabilize out of control powers to bring them to an optimal state for the user, and even suppress powers if need be. I can sense other mutants, and awaken the X gene in people who have it to bestow their powers on them.
Elliot is kind to me. He has never judged me for my tattoos and I feel good about myself when I'm with him. He makes me feel better, though that can only last for so long. I wonder sometimes if he actually likes me, or just is saying that. I see no reason for him to want to be my friend if he was using me, I have nothing of value he could take, I feel like I'm just looking for any other reason than him genuinely liking me. I love his company and wish he knew how much it meant to me. I still don't like showing my tattoos, he tries to reassure me about them, but I still feel self conscious...
