Chapter 19: Henry

Y/N turned around slowly who spoke to her and it was a female Lost One. She was crouched down while being careful not to get caught by the Keepers slithering around. "Just beyond that door. The Keeper's prison. The Pit. No one ever comes out. At least, they're never quite the same. But I could open the door for you. I do know how! I really do!"

This caused Y/N to feel happy and even excited, even though she shouldn't be, being trapped in this hell hole and all. What was there to be excited about? Happy yes from getting help from a kind Lost One. "Ah, thank you. That would..." 

She didn't finish her sentence as The Lost One said that she wanted to play a game called 'hide and seek'. Y/N's mind clicked as perhaps this Lost One may be a female child but it's unknown. Even adults love to play that game. Y/N agreed and used her hands to not peek while The Lost One went to hide. After a while, Y/N looked again and this time, she found out that this Lost One was called Heidi, which was a beautiful name. Y/N walked back down where she came from and her fear kicked in. Again dealing with the Keepers. She must be quick and careful. She started to search everywhere she could think of like corners and behind the boxes or other stuff. After like 30 minutes and still no sign of Heidi, the female Lost One. That was the first time that she met Heidi. That's when Y/N's mind clicked again as an idea came up. She needed to check upstairs. There were like perhaps no stairs so Y/N had to use her powers to get up, even finding a tape about experiment 26. It was beyond creepy listening to the tapes from the Keepers. Y/N faced Heidi. So, she was hiding by the boxes the whole time?

Heidi looked up to face Y/N. "Oh! You did it! You found me! Oh, this is exciting. You were brilliant!"

"Now can you open that door for me?" Y/N asked nicely.

Heidi sighed and stood up. "Oh, yes. The door. I think you'll find it's open now. Oh! And also! Let me give you something! Something special." She giggled. "Just a small reminder of our game together..." Heidi then gently touched Y/N's head as she closed her eyes and gave her a brand new power. Fast traveling. Y/N now understood how Heidi could travel fast. 

As Heidi crouched down again, Y/N tested her new powers out and traveled to another place in the studio when she came back to the... city? Her memories of Bendy immediately returned to her and she nearly cried but she kept herself together for the demon before she'll have a breakdown. She traveled back to where she came from and saw that Heidi was nowhere to be found...

Y/N went back immediately to the door and indeed it was open. But once she entered, a voice through the speakers spoke. Voice automated. "Decontamination activated." Y/N asked her if this was really necessary and walked towards the door but once she arrived, the voice wished her a nice day. Yeah, right. Being trapped in a studio was not fun but there was at least Bendy that she must rescue. 

Y/N was again in an unknown/new area where she hasn't seen. She decided to take a look around before going further. She saw the vent that would lead her but before she could go, she activated the lever by pulling it down and the lights lit on, which turned out to be like a jail. There was a man, sitting on the stool, seeming to be like drawing or reading. Y/N couldn't believe it, an actual human being. "Um, excuse me? Sir? Can you... help me?" Y/N asked, feeling unsure what to say.

"You must be... really lost to be asking for help," the man responded, not making eye contact.

"I'm just looking for answers. About the Keepers, Wilson, the Cycle. Anything could help."

That's when the man asked her for her name to which Y/N responded her name and asked what the man was. Meet Henry, the long prisoner in this studio. Henry then explained how he was trapped. The Keepers think that he was a danger to their plan and that they locked him up... forever. This broke Y/N's heart but then she heard that the Ink Demon was the key but even he must obey the rules. For now at least. Henry informed that Y/N must get her hands on a reel of the film called 'The End' in order to reset the cycle. If she manages to get it, then she'll give others the best ut then her mind went straight to Bendy. Will she be able to take him home with her? Henry wished her good luck and went back to keep himself busy. 

Y/N thanked Henry quietly as she went back to the vent and once she was there, she saw a huge head resting broken against the wall and on the floor. This scared her to death as she realized once she moved, she felt like she was being watched by the huge head. Was that Bertrum? The one who used to make amusement parks? She went back and activated another lever by pulling it down and she saw that there was another person trapped inside the jail. He was playing an instrument called a banjo (I think). Was that Sammy? It must be. She then climbed up the ladder and saw some stuff behind the glass like an axe. Sad. It must be very useful. 

That's when Y/N saw the signs of the Ink Demon coming. She thought immediately of the grin on his face. It was scary but luckily, she saw a hiding spot and went to hide, then she waited. Once she heard his growl and her vision went back to normal, she came out. That was a close one. she also realized the sign said THE PIT so this must be it! But once she pressed the button, a voice of a Keeper can be heard and the doors opened from the floor. She kept herself quiet, feeling fear as the Keeper came out. He turned around and saw Y/N, knocking her out immediately.
