This summer was truly a blast
Joseph had just finished shooting a show for Netflix and his fame had grown  Everybody knew his name!
At first it was fun and all but then things started changing bit by bit

Let's just start from the beginning of this weekend.

Joseph finally got the door open to the hotel room and you let out  a gasp
"Oh my- Wow!"
"I know right? They said the room was the best around here and this is the hotel where all celebrity's stay if you know what I mean" He said with a smirk on his face
"Wow you're a celebrity I never knew!" You said in a sarcastic voice
He walked towards you And planted a kiss on your cheek as you watched the cars pass by from the huge window
"Italy is amazing" you said with a huge smile
"Yeah?"
"Yeah" You replied
"Great to know you like it"
"It was a huge surprise though you should have told me before not 3 days before" You said turning towards him
He was opening up the suitcase he had just put on the floor
"It's not like I got the news before you besides its a good surprise free travels and all" he joked
You laughed
His smile faded after
"What's wrong?" You questioned
"It's nothing um... Hell. I might have invited my parents over here to you know get to see Italy as a vacation for them too and maybe to also meet you...?"
Your eyes widened
You started thinking and maybe for a bit too long
"It's fine if you don't want to though besides they're only here for half of the week the rest of the week will be all booked for free time with you promise " He started rambling and you stopped him
"I was gonna meet them sooner or later anyway might aswell meet them now right? Besides we've been dating for years now I think it's time " You smiled at him while wrapping your arms around his neck
The smile that had once faded now reappeared on his face once again
He leaned in for the kiss you both were so desperate for
But then pulled away
"Did I mention they'll be here in an hour?" He made a cheeky face as you gasped
"Joseph!"
"Sorry! I just forgot you know"
" Then we should get ready and quick! Wait where are we meeting them?"
"Well there's this really great restaurant around here maybe we could go there?"

You both got ready and walked towards the doors of the restaurant
Inside was even better than the outside
It was 18th century themed with glass walls so you could see the city below you and ironically it was on the 18th floor.
His parents were already seated and waiting for you both
"Why hello there now who would you be?"
"Hi I'm Y/n" You said
The smiles on both Joseph's mums and his father face dropped almost instantly
"Oh haha wow you are wow" His mother tried to say
Acting like she was hiding something
"Mum, Dad... This is my girlfriend Y/n the one which I had told you about" Joseph smiled trying to lighten up the mood
"Yeah we've um we've heard" They both faked a smile wasn't quite obvious but you could tell.
You all got seated and Talked, Well Joseph did most of the talking while you sat and listened
You didn't feel like talking much after the awkward moment that had just happened
Joseph realized you weren't talking and saw it as quite odd so he tried pitching you in to the conversation a few times, most of times Joseph's parents sat there pretending to be enjoying this whole thing that was happening.

"So...y/n" Joseph's mother said making you lift your head up from the meal that had been sitting in front of you for the past half an hour
"What job do you do?"
"Oh I'm actually going freelance right now but acting has been going great, just got this new main character role on a movie thanks to Joseph we start this november"
Joseph smirked
"But yeah I have a Mathematics degree though"
"Oh really?" Joseph's mum said a bit intrigued
"Yeah"
"What university did you go to y/n?" Joseph's father said pitching in
" NYU "
"Impressive ,you know actually Joseph's old girlfriend and him met at university "
Joseph looked up unaware of the situation in a confused look
"They had dated for such long time but then Joseph here dumped her"
Joseph laughed uncomfortably
"Oh yes I was very sure that girl would be a quinn one day, uh why did you ever dump her Joseph?" Joseph mother said
