AFTER THE BREAKUP Vinnie was oddly calm, she didn't shed any tears or scream or shout she was just quiet, she acted as if Ddot didn't even exist as if she never even knew or met him

Ddot had tried calling and texting her but she's never respond and all his calls went straight to voicemail, he was going absolutely crazy over her and all he did was sulk about all day regretting cheating on her

As soon as notti had heard what ddot had done he had immediately called Vinnie to see if she was okay which of course she acted like she was in her words she was perfectly fine.

VINNIE HOPED AND prayed that miss Jimenez would be the one to answer the door and not ddot, she wasn't ready to see him yet

Her heart skipped a beat as the door swung open and she was met with his face "Vinnie" a large smile grew on his face at just the sight of her but she didn't return it "I came to drop off these" she quickly shoved a cardboard box into his arms it which had some of his belongings in "I came to give you your things back" she said simply avoiding eye contact "oh, thanks"

There was an awkward silence between the two "so... how've you been?" He broke the silence, she shrugged "fine, you?" he nodded "I mean it ain't been the same without you" vinnie hummed at his words

Vinnie looked back at Zion who was waiting in his car she had asked him to drive her to ddots, she noted the mug he was giving Ddot and the impatient look on his face
"Well I have to get going, tell your mom I said hi" Ddot nodded eagerly "shes here actually, you can come inside and say hello if you want" Vinnie shook her head "no it's fine I'm just gonna go" she turned to leave but Ddot spoke again

"Vinnie wait, I've got something of yours just let me quickly go get it" Vinnie was hesitant at first but decided to wait, she watched him enter back into the house and after a minute return

From his pocket he pulled out a small velvet box, he gave her a sad smile before handing her over the box "what is it?" She asked "open it"

Vinnies eyes widened at the ring inside the box, it was beautiful it had a small stone in the middle and in the inner side of the ring it had their initials engraved into it

"It's a promise ring, I was planning on giving it you and then we broke up" he explained as she looked at the ring "I know we're not together anymore but-" Vinnie cut him off "it's beautiful" she slid the ring onto her finger "I'm gonna wear it regardless"

She looked up at him "bye" he gave her a sincere smile "bye vi"
