April 1975
Ten, a 4 year old, walks into the rainbow room and over to a stack of blocks. He lifts the block and tries to lift it with his mind but doesn't work.
Another group of boys walk in and decide to go sit beside Ten. The boys were Six and Seven.
"Ten?" Six asked.
"Hello Six and Seven!"
"Can we help you with what you're doing?" Six asked. Ten nodded
November 1983
Dustin, Mike, and Lucas all were in Mike's room.
"This is Eleven but she goes by El." Mike said, "This is Dustin and Lucas." El looked at them and the boy Mike called Dustin looked familiar but she couldn't figure out where he was from.
December 1975
POV: Eleven
I walked over and sat next to a girl talking to an attendant.
I said, "I am Eleven." The girl looked at the attendant and he nodded towards her.
"I am Nine." She had shoulder length hair which was strange because no one in the lab has hair that's not shaved. It was blonde and she wore gloves on her hands.
"Hair?" I asked.
"Huh oh. Yeah. My experiments are finished so I am allowed to grow hair"
