The pink-haired daughter of the grim reaper marched forward, aiming gradually her tall massive scythe blade right up at Cloudy.
"Areh-?" Cloudy uttered again softly.
Not necessarily threatening him with her weaponry. More of... getting these certain things straight.
Even as a massive scythe's blade is curved.
"With that said," Blossom demanded firmly. "tell us now, at long last. What do you know about Amulet, as you are an ally of his?"
It took quite a while to sink down the tension.
After all that same while, it didn't take Blossom or the others long to figure out that Cloudy had been thinking of his response in that momentary silence.
"Hmm..." Cloudy hummed thoughtfully, tilting his head to the side. "...okay, I got it! It's really simple."
"So, what is it, then?" Blossom pressed sharply.
"Are you aware of the opposite being incarnate of Amulet? Namely... the spirit of dreams~?" Cloudy asked curiously.
Meekly lord Leafyerttus almost felt his breath hitch, as soon as he overheard Cloudy's questioning words.
Even the brotherly entity of music, lord Natalie himself, was in a slight alarm from his former partner's own question.
The spirit of dreams? Is what pondered in mind.
"That spirit of dreams, young Emblem?" Blossom reiterated as her gaze rose. "Yes, he was yet another young soul taken under goddess Natalia's power into creating him as a blissful being of dreams. Similar to what Natalia dear did to Amulet."
"Why do you ask that?..." Natalia immediately followed up, if a tense tone as she voiced those next words. "Did Amulet manage to capture dear Emblem? Defeated Emblem because of both their opposing magic and abilities?!"
"I did." Cloudy answered short, as a widening slit smile returned to his face chillingly. "I attacked Emblem with a single, thunderous strike of lightning, and he plummeted easily unto Earth grounds below! As you all know, spirits or ghosts might as well be weakened from extermination, or mere exorcising electricity for that matter~!"
"Y-You... went as far to doing that to Emblem?!" Leafy gasped, taken aback. "J-Just because he poses a threat of some sort towards your ally Amulet?!"
"Of course I did, Leafy! Everyone else from the Antagonist Trio was counting on my help, and so I gladly carried it out in the ways I can! Would really be such a troublesome shame if the dream spirit faced off against the nightmare spirit and toppled him down." Cloudy responded agreeingly.
Musical lord Natalie was a bit calmer, but still troubled as he beaded a sweat on his face. "W- Wouldn't that mean such a cowardly method to have done so—"
"Eventually, even from my lightning and thunder alone, Emblem would've easily risen up shortly after sometime of his recovery, like anyone possibly could." Cloudy explained, interrupting Natalie. "So that's when I locked the very spirit of dreams for a longevity of time deep within the dungeon of my clouds. That's why you don't see Emblem as much anymore that often!"
Almost immediately afterwards, Blossom had swung her massive scythe blade threateningly right towards the lord of clouds, with his body still dangling between trapping, ascended thick branches.
Cloudy never visibly flinched or reacted to this. If anything, he simply smiled in the trailing silence.
The other deities, too, were drifted silent.
