Chapter 24

"Yes I'm joining- are you joining?" Leah asked

"I- uhm- yes I am" I said

Leah gave me a small smile

The next day

Today is the day

Our last game of this word cup

We're playing the finals against Germany

I just woke up, Leah wasn't by my side

I got up and walked inside the bathroom

I found Leah sitting on the ground

She looked like a mess

"Are you okay?" I asked

She shook her head no

"What's wrong?" I asked and kneeled down beside her

"My period just started and I feel so sick"

"Can I do something for you?"

She shook her head no

"Warm bath?" I asked

She nodded

"Should I get some food for you downstairs while you take a warm bath"

"That would be nice"

"I'll be right back" I said

I walked downstairs to grab some breakfast

"Where's Leah?" Sarina asked

"She isn't feeling well"

"Is she nervous?"

"I don't know but her period just started and she's feeling sick"

"I'll talk to her"

"She's taking a bath and I'm going to bring her some food"

"Okay, I'll talk to her later" Sarina said and walked away

I walked back upstairs

I knocked on the bathroom door

"Leah?"

"Yes?"

"Do you want your breakfast there or should I put it on the table"

"Table please"

"I'll be downstairs, if you need me call me okay?"

"Okay thank you"

It's been some hours later

We were sitting in the dressingroom, Sarina just finished her speech

I looked at Leah, she was sitting next to me

She was moving her legs up and down

I placed my hand on her knee

"Are you okay?"

She looked at me and nodded

"Are you sure?"

"I'm really nervous" She said

"Let's go girls" Sarina said

We got up and walked outside

I was doing the warming up with Leah

"How are you feeling?" I asked

"I'm in pain, I'm nervous, tired, happy, sad" Leah said

"That's a lot" I said

"I know"

"What do you think about this game?" I said
