Y/N's POV
Soon, a month had passed by. It was quicker than I still had no idea how he was going to break it to me. For the past couple of days, he had been clinging onto me. I tried to ask him why he was so clingy, but he didn't say anything. He just continued to cling on. All day today, I avoided him. Last night I asked him to sleep separately. He was against it at first, but after a while, he reluctantly agreed. I woke up earlier than usual, so that he wouldn't walk me to the Great Hall, to classes. If he walked towards me, I would completely walk the other way or go into the loo and hide until classes started. I knew today was the last day, I overheard Astoria talking about it to some of her friends.

I decided to just get it over with, so that i had the weekend to myself. To cry, to mourn and to feel it all. So, I waited in the Slytherin common room with Pansy and Blaise.

"Y/N, stop shaking your thigh. It's not a good habit." Blaise scolded. I stopped, but I couldn't stop picking at my fingers. Where was he? He told me he goes to the Astronomy tower when he's alone so I thought he'd be there. I excused myself

"Where are you going?"

"Astronomy tower. I need time to think." I lied, trying not to show my anxiety. They both nodded, as I quickly walked out of the common room.

FIRST PERSON POV

At that exact moment, Draco Malfoy had walked out of his dorm, Astoria out of hers. Perhaps it was a meet up, or coincidental, but the second she saw Draco, she squealed, giving him a kiss, on the lip. He pulled back, disgusted by her. Pansy, overhearing the commotion, had turned around, staring at Draco agape. Blaise was unfazed, quite disappointed, shaking his head. Draco, at the time, did not see them, but wanted to talk to Astoria, about their little bet.

"You did it Dray!" she exclaimed, he said nothing. Quite disgusted with the way she said his nickname; the same one Y/N had called him many times before.

"One month, and she's your girlfriend, must say you've done it quicker than I expected. But after all, you are a Malfoy; your genes live to attract ladies." Draco looked down, that was true, but all he did was nod, staying silent. "Did you break it off with her yet? Actually, you don't need to. Screw her, it was just a bet." she whispered, pulling Draco closer as she smashed her lip against his. Pansy hands completely collapsed, hitting her own lap hard. She stood up from the couch, mouth agape and tears streaming in her eyes.

Draco whipped around, color draining from his face. Astoria smirked.

"You heard it first, Greengrass and Malfoy are officially dating!" Pansy walked up to Astoria, raising her left hand, and made contact with Astoria's cheek, hard. Astoria cried out, holding her cheek, that was now bleeding.

"You bitch!" Astoria was about to fight back, but Draco held her wrist, stopping her from hurting her.

"Pansy--" he begged, all Pansy did was just shake her head.

"Save it," she whispered. Sprinting out of the Common room.

"Where's she going?"

"Probably to tell Y/N, Malfoy. Astronomy tower" Blaise glared, walking away, absolutely disappointed at his best friend. Astoria smirked, laughing at the news. She reached out for Draco's hand, only to be yanked away. He sprinted as quickly as he could to the bottom of the stairs to the astronomy tower. He heaved, trying to catch his breath and doing his best to silently walk up the stairs without making any noise.

"Y/N?" Pansy whispered, Draco standing behind the pillar. He saw you turn around, his heart shattered at the sight. Here you were, with red eyes, red nose, cheeks wet, eyes without the usual sparkle, mouth agape.
