001. - the teucer incident

"Listen, chat... I thought this was all stupid. Both of them are. But now that I think about it, Teucer kinda resembles Topher in a way..." You rambled onto the microphone.

It was another typical night. Eating dinner and chatting with the viewers watching your stream.

'what team are you on y/n? childe's or aether's'

You read the comment outloud. "I already went over it! Their wee argument doesn't even make sense!"

You let out a sigh of disbelief. "I guess Childe's the type to protect the people he loves just like that. Good for him. And for Aether, he just spouts nonsense all the time. If I really had to pick a side, I'd choose Aether cause Childe's afraid of me. I hope that didn't sound mean!"

The chat started to slow down with the Teucer Incident and started to ask more and more questions. Questions such as 'Are you single?' or 'Are you secretly dating someone' popped up at least 5 times.

Your attention to your chat was soon stolen by a Discord notification. It was an invite to a server with a message at the bottom saying 'Join call while ur on strem pls 🥰'

"Well everyone, some ginger sent me an invite to this server. He told me to join while streaming so lets see what it is."

You clicked the 'join' button and entered a voice-channel with some people you recognise. Once you were in, the sounds of yelling broke your ears.

"AETHER TAKE IT BACK! NOT ONLY DID YOU STEAL ALL MY WOOD BUT YOU'RE TRYING TO DEFAME MY BROTHER!"

"I DID NOT! LUMINE TOOK THEM NOT ME I SWEAR!"

You just stared at the screen blankly, trying to process what was happening.

"GUYS SHUSH! Y/N'S HEREE" That all too familiar voice called out.

It was Hutao.

Her yelling was a bit too loud. No, literally. You could hear her from across the apartments.

"Hello everyone. Can I ask what's the purpose of this server?" You asked, while you adjusted your seat.

"We all started a minecraft server like a few hours ago and we thought inviting you would get me to win this argument." Childe explains.

Oh, so that's why he personally invited you.

"To be fair, this is all stupid. Can't ya'll just stop and hug it out?" You continued, "Anyways, who's in this server?"

"Most of our mutual friends. Kaveh, Cyno, Lumine, Dehya, Kaeya, Alhaitham, Itto..."

Ah, them all.

"Wait who's Alhaitham?" That was the only person who's name you didn't recognise.

"Hold on, you don't know who Alhaitham is?" Aether questioned, after you heard Lumine laughing, seemingly being in the same room as him.

"Yeah. It's the first time I heard their name."

"Wow. You've known Kaveh for years and not Alhaitham? Just wow." Hutao made it sound like she was disappointed.

"Well that's why I'm asking! Who is he?"

"He's Kaveh's roommate." Aether says. "Doesn't he always complain to you all about him?"

You stared at your monitor, trying to remember. It turns out, he really was complaining about this annoying 'stuck up' roommate he had.

"Yeah he does. I guess I'm bound to meet him soon anyways."

The four of you talked more and more as you logged onto Minecraft. Once you loaded in, you found yourself in a forest, currently in the process of burning. If you had to guess, it was Hutao's doing.

"What a lovely scenery this is. It's definitely the best thing you can ever see once entering a new minecraft server. Yep! Definitely!"

You could hear the giggling of both Hutao and Childe on call. That really can't be good.

Same with Aether. He already left a long time ago. So now it's just you and Childe.

"Instead of standing there and staring at me with flint and steals on your hands, can you maybe show me around?"

The two of them said yes of course. Childe handed you 10 cooked beef and started leading the way. "So the closest place from spawn is Cyno's dirt shack. He said he couldn't be bothered building that much until he gets netherite."

Typical Cyno. You were sure he was going to get the most op gear in the server.

The tour continued with Childe leading the way again. It seemed like Hutao had to go cause you heard her apartment's door open.

"Anyway here's the area most of us were planning on building at. You fan really tell who are the geniuses and the architects here"

Well he was right. You were sure this seemingly unfinished palace was Kaveh's place.
The one opposite to it was also huge. However, you weren't sure who belonged to it.

"Let's move on! Where are you settling in?" He asks.

You answered, "I'm honestly not too sure yet. Maybe I'll decide tomorrow. I've been streaming for hours now."

"I see. Welp, see ya then Y/N!"

"Bye bye Tarts!" You both exited the vc.

"Welp that's all everyone. I'll be streaming again tomorrow! Byeee~"
