Tommy lies awake in his own thoughts, in his bed, with the morning rising like the climax of your favorite story.

I still can't believe I kissed Benjamin. I have no time for love. I am going to have to tell him I have spirit magic. He know the legend, Casimir's legend, so he must know I have the same magic as Casimir at least.

Tommy looks at the clock. It reads 6:30.

Tammy is awake. I'm still in the habit of being home and awake by 6. Wait a second... Olivia was that girl who was telling The Legend of Casimir to those little kids. The Spirit Council is supposed to die. Am I going to murder black spirits?

Before his thoughts could spiral out of country, sits up and slides out of bed. He walks over to his backpack and takes out a leather book, quill, and ink. He opens the book to the neck blank page.

Till death breaks our bond, that is what I said. I knew I was getting myself into something, and I knew it was bound to happen anyways. Now I lay in my bed, in my thoughts, with the morning rising like the climax of a story.

Tommy pauses his writing, listening to the sound of Toby moving in his sleep. Rain and Toby are sleeping in room 208. Why did I stop? Tommy puts his things in his backpack.

He climbs out of bed and leaves room 210; locking it. He exits the hotel. Looking around for any windows nearby, Tommy jumps onto the roof.

The oranges and pinks of the sunrise sky turn the clouds into beautiful shades of orange and pink. Tommy sits on the hotel roof, wait for something to happen.

"What's up"? A translucent friend asks. "Why are you here"? Tommy asks. "I was looking for you," she says. "Ginger, why were you looking for me"? Tommy asks. Ginger scoots closer.

"To ask you an important question."
"What is it"?
"Who is the next? Who is the next wearer of the sword"?

Tommy hesitates before repling, "how about instead of your full name being Ginger, it becomes Ginger Spirit". "Can I have a middle name"? Ginger asks enthusiastically. Tommy nods. Ginger embraces Tommy in a bear hug. Tommy smiles, "what shall your middle name be? It is your name".

"Essence".
"Ginger Essence Spirit. That sounds better than my full name".

Down below, Benjamin stops in front of the hotel. He's holding what looks to be a bouquet of many different flowers. Tommy leans forward, getting a slightly closer look.

"Do you know who he is"?
"That's Benjamin".
"Why is he holding a bouquet anyways; does he have a girlfriend or is he going to ask someone out? It makes no sense".
"What if that's for me"?

Ginger hacks. "You have a crush on him"! She shouts. "Yes, and get over it"! Tommy shouts back. Benjamin looks around, he heard them. Tommy glares at Ginger. "Go talk to him, or at least bring him up here," Ginger says. "Do you want him to know your a half-fox"? Tommy asks. "As long as he doesn't tell anyone," Ginger says. "Now go"! Tommy teleports behind Benjamin.

"Morning"! Tommy smiles. "Holy spirits! What did I tell you last night"? Benjamin reminds. "Morning". "So," Tommy begins. "Who's the bouquet for"? He holds the bouquet out to Tommy. "For you," Benjamin gives an awkward smile. "Me"? Tommy asks, he heart skipping a beat. Benjamin nods. I never thought I would be giving someone flowers. Tommy takes the bouquet from Benjamin. "Thank you," Tommy mutters.

Oh my spirits, this hurts so much to watch. I want to vomit from watching all this. Tommy needs to bring him here, or do I have to jump down there and I introduce myself? You know what, I'm going to introduce myself. Ginger jumps down from the roof of the hotel.
