. delta has been in the industry since 2011, when she was 15, starring in shameless as mandy milkovich. this show is the reason for most of her fame.
. she began dating hailee steinfeld from january 2014 to january 2015. during that time, she acted in unfriended and san andreas , both as the main character.
. after san andreas came out, she gained a lot of popularity and acted in suicide squad as the enchantress .
. in june 2015, she publicly announced a relationship with austin butler, gaining more fame from there.
. following a messy break up with austin, delta took a break from acting and only focused on suicide squad.
. she met drew at the premiere for it, and they became friends quickly.
. drew and delta began dating in october 2016, but kept it under wraps until february 2017.
. in 2017, delta took the role of raeya grayson, a main character in the show titans. im not gonna explain that character bcs its not really important lmfao
. delta placed most of her focus on titans, and didn't act in anything else until early 2019, when she went in with drew for an audition on outer banks.

.delta had originally auditioned for the role of kiara carrera, but after her audition, the writers and directors made some changes to the script. ( aka making john b not the main character and creating a new storyline for delta's character to be the mc. ) now, instead of a cishet white man being the main character, a lesbian mixed puerto rican woman was the main character <3
.raelynn maybank-alcaraz is the main character of outer banks and the cousin of jj maybank. she was born and raised in puerto rico, she moved to north carolina with her parents when she was 14, because her father was an avid treasure hunter and her mother's brother lived there. from there, the rest of the story is the same !
