I'm so bored. I just want to go home. School just started and it's already miserable. I hate my life. I have to deal with the bullies or being forgotten again. I hate this. I hate, hate it. I wanna go back to mom. I wanna scream. "MITSUBA! MITSUBA PAY ATTENTION! RAISE YOUR HAND!" A voice interrupts my thoughts. Gosh. She didn't have to yell. Some of us have sensitive ears. I put my hand up as cooly as I could without crying. A blonde haired boy comes next to me. Oh no. Recently everyone had avoided sitting next to me, since I was supposedly some scary, lame, pink UwU boy. At least I don't watch corn, like some people probably do in this class. "Hey! Mitsuba right?" The blonde haired boy whispers, I'm guessing so the teacher doesn't hear. Has he not heard the rumors about me? I guess not. I guess it wouldn't hurt to make him my friend while he's here. But, it'll hurt when he leaves me for them. "Uhm hello?" He whispers, a bit more loudly this time. I guess I can make slight conversation with him. What was his name again though? I take a peek at his water bottle. Looks like it says Kou or something. "Uhm yes. Kou right?" I say shyly for some reason, unknown to even me. "Haha thats right! I guess your not very talkative? Well do you mind if I talk? By the way, isn't Mitsuba a bit long? I'll just call you Mitsu, it sounds better!" He excitedly whispers under his breath, as if excited to make "friends" with someone like me. Anyone else, I would've gotten annoyed and told them to shut up. But, I like his voice. It's soothing and friendly. I wouldn't ever get tired of him. Until he leaves me I guess I'll enjoy it. "Yeah.. I don't mind."
-After Class-
"Mitsu! Mitsu!" That voice calls out to me again. "Oh hey Kou." I answer and give him a small smile. "Can we eat lunch together! I'm completely pooped!" He says. And he said it so cheerfully too. I'm sorry to pop his bubble. "I would love to but... I don't eat lunch at school." I stopped ever since people kept on taking my food or throwing it at me. It's more of a waste of food like that than on me. "Well then my treat! I'll get you something!" He says, not seeming to mind this new fact at all. "What. No it's fine Kou! I just don't eat at school! I'll just eat at home! No problem!" I say a bit panicked. Kou might get picked on if he's seen eating with me. He might get injured as people might forget he's there if he's with me. "No! I want to. As your new friend! I'm treating you!" He grabs my hand and runs me to the cafeteria. I almost gasp. It's such a warm feeling. As if the sun had penetrated through my skin. I allowed myself to be sucked in the moment. To smile and let blush tint my face. As a toast to our new friendship I guess. Still. I know now matter how good and different this might feel, he'll leave me eventually. I know. I know he will. After all, all good things come to an end. "Here open your mouth! Say Ahhhhh!" I find Kou suddenly saying. "Wait what! I can feed myself! Take that away from my mouth!" I say as he teasingly tries to put the spoon in my mouth. "I don't think you have the attention span for that Mitsu-Chan~!" He says teasingly. Fuck. That was hot. I purse my lips. "Uhm n-!" I'm interrupted as a tasty pudding gets put into my mouth. That was amazing. I snatch it from him and gobble it down. "No It'S fInE kOu" He mimics me. "You just snatched my pudding and ate it in 7 seconds." He says, fake mad. The intrusive thoughts come back for a moment. One day that'll be him, actually mad they say. But, his sun breaks into my thoughts and I giggle.
