Waking up to soft sniffles from behind me.
Looking back I seen dd sitting on the edge of the bed looking at his phone
Checking my phone I seen the date.. it was notti's birthday
I quickly got walking towards dd standing over him.
"Are you okay?" I asked
He shook his head yes still not looking at me
"Baby.." I lifted his head up
"What bro" he said moving my hand
"I'm asking you if you're okay"
"I just said yes bro damn"
"I'm sorry I ain't mean to make you mad I was just asking because I heard sniffing"

I sighed sitting at the spot where dd was last at getting on my phone

Hearing the door open I looked up from my phone seeing dd standing there
His eyes was low and red like he was crying type

"I'm sorry"he said in a low tone
"It's okay mh Ik you're sad rn" I said
He walked up to me grabbing me wrapping his arms around me.
"We was supposed to be celebrating together" he mumbled

"No no he was supposed to be here rn smiling and all that but he not here anymore because of me"
"Stop saying that.. it's not your fault ml you wasn't there at time it was nun you could do"
I hated that he blamed himself for something he couldn't control.
"I can't do nothing mh" he said
"Wym.."
"Like I can't do anything tdy I don't feel like it"
"If you just wanna chill we can but you need to be around your family atleast"
"Ig but before all that happens I wanna just lay back" he said
"Well you can" I said
"Ok but one more thing"

"Can you do my hair before we dip to the family house"
