When the bell rings for the end of the day, the students immediately bolt through the doors, screaming. Charity takes me by the hand and runs down the sidewalk, both of us screaming and laughing as we run through the pouring rain. I can't help but stare at the beautiful face in front of me, and it feels like I'm in one of those romance movies that Severus loves.
I run as fast as I can to get to the school bus, still holding Charity's hand tightly until I finally step up onto the stairs. Charity smiles as she cups my jaw in her hands and kisses me until the doors start to close. This moment only lasts for a few minutes, but as I sit at my seat and watch her sprint alongside the bus until she couldn't, I start to regret ever stopping for the bus during moments like these.
I never want to let go of these moments with her.
