A/N: I'll stop using korean words here. So I won't be using honorifics if necessary.

Jungkook who was hiding at the tree near them went towards Jin who was left alone in the middle of the beach. The fireworks were still booming lively, yet the feeling that Jin felt was contradicting the overall mood of the general celebration. He was clearly devastated.

"Jin, are you okay?"

"Jungkook?!"

Jin, who looked like he'll cry any second was startled as he saw Jungkook who slowly approached him. Sensing that the young lad was rather in dilemma, feeling guilty for eavesdropping.

"Why are you here? Ah, I supposed you heard everything."

Jungkook flinched but didn't bother defending himself since he can't lie, no, he don't want to, towards Jin.

"Yes... I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for? It's not your fault. Come here."

Both of them stood together at the empty beach. The fireworks looked like it won't stop anytime soon.

"Wanna go on a stroll, Jin?" Jungkook tilted his head, looking at the horizon.

"Sure." Jin, who barely pull himself together, didn't refused the offer.

-

"So, what ice cream would you like? My treat."

Jungkook who's skimming around the convenient store blurted out as he picked some random chips on the aisle he passed through. Jin on the other hand, was searching for some ice cream that might entice his interest.

"Ah."

Jin picked up the chocolate ice cream and he also got mint chocolate ice cream for Jungkook.

"Here."

"Oh? Mint-chocolate?"

Jungkook who's carrying three bags of chips tilted his head, confused on why Jin got mint-chocolate ice cream.

"Oh, is that for me?"

Jin, who's embarrassed, since he can't refuse Jungkook's treat (since he forgot his wallet) nodded his head in agreement.

"Thanks for picking that up for me, Jin."

After they both had their interests of goods being paid on the counter, both of them exited the store and started to open their ice cream, thinking that it might melt instantly if they don't eat it as soon as it was out from the freezer.

"This might be really late for me to ask and probably you might really get annoyed... Pretty cliché but, are you feeling fine?"

Jungkook who was walking along with Jin ,asked as he slowly munch the ice cream.

"I would really like to say yes but I don't want to lie to myself today and don't worry, I'm not annoyed by you asking something rather obvious, thanks for checking up on me."

"I see."

Both of them mutually agreed that it would be rather great to walk in silence than to ask anymore questions. Both are having fun having themselves as their company while silently enjoying the food they bought.

After a little bit of strolling, they found an empty bench. Thankfully it doesn't look as isolated even though the place they're in are rather private.

"Should we sit there?" Jin asked.

"Sure."

Both of them sat on the bench, not uttering any word. Seems like both of them are in rather deep thought.

Enjoying the feeling of air blowing to their faces, Jungkook, who realize that both of them are alone, tries to steal some glances on Jin, who's still in deep thought.

Part of Jungkook enjoys being together with Jin today but for some unknown reason, his heart felt heavy. He really wished to jinx Jin and Saeyoung's relationship but he never wanted Jin to be sad, as well as Saeyoung, now that he realize that their relationship is not really a simple inclination of interest but rather something that was built from trust that was converted to interest from romantic point of view later on.

Jin, who snapped from his daydream is now looking at Jungkook. Jungkook, who did not noticed his eyes that's rather sitting on Jin's face for too long was lost in thought.

"Jungkook."

Startled, the young lad widen his eyes.

'What the hell was I doing.' Jungkook thought.

"Yes, Jin?"

"Wanna date me?"
