cherry looked up.

she hadn't actually expected him to show up.

"hi." cherry greeted.

she didn't know the best way to go about it.

how was she supposed to just confess her feelings?

"i'm not stupid, cherry." jay said, before she continued speaking.

cherry gave him a confused look.

"okay." jay cleared his throat. "i played you first."

".. what?" cherry questioned.

jay shrugged.

he took a glance around the room.

"i knew you were gonna try to play me. flor already told me this morning. i knew there was something weird when you didn't throw me out after the first week." jay crossed his arms. "i'm not that stupid, cher."

"but.. i really liked you." cherry confessed.

none of it had been for revenge.

she had always been in love with him.
