It's the first day of senior year, awful the others are, but Sophie one of my best friends since kindergarten when were both tiny and ugly, she sticked with me in that hell hole sophie is like my only friend and I'm only hers well there is court but we barley talk, we both got made fun of and also had a death threats by the popular boys cause me and Sophie were making fun of them

I walk to my vanity with Sophie on the bed

"Listen no boy is gonna like us this year!" I laugh while brushing my hair

"Okay you don't know that and what about that grungy boy that you liked!" She laughed back she was all ready

"We do not speak of kurt..and hey! You like krist his best friend!" I say now switching to my mascara

"Yes yes I do Amelia I LOVE krist" she says smiling

"Whatever lover girl Let's go" I say putting on my hoodie then my converses

Once we arrive at school we quickly go to my locker considering we see kurt and krist I put my work in my locker and grab out the books I have for science

"Do you think kurt and Courtney are still together?" I ask Sophie

"Well yes! They are like the best couple in school" she smiles

I smile along sarcastically and look behind the wall to see kurt holding hands with Courtney but I didn't care about Courtney I wanted kurt

"They are coming!" Sophie says about to jump off the ground

When they walk pasted Courtney smiled at me and said hi

"Wait what friend is that court?" Kurt says whispering

"Amelia, she's super sweet!" Court says smiling

"Hi Amelia!" Kurt screams to me

I smile and do a little wave it caught me off guard

"Holy shit Amelia he said hi to you!" Sophie said basically jumping

I smile blushing slightly but notice Sophie's crush "krist is coming soph" I look over at Sophie while watching krist

"Do I look good?" She says to me fixing her hair

"You always look good don't worry" I give her a soft smile "you need to talk to him he clearly looks at you to" i smile

"Really you think so!" She says

"Of course I think so I have eyes Sophie besides school don't start just yet you have plenty of time to start a conversation" i smile

"You're joking I can't talk to him" she says grabbing her hair and messing with it, it's her coping mechanism

"The urge to just push you into him" i laugh watching him pass by looking at Sophie

"If you do that I will kill you Amelia" she says facing towards the locker

"Sophie remember I love you" I laugh "hey krist!" I yell

"Amelia what are you doing!" Sophie whispers and smacks my arm

"You will thank me later Sophie I promise" I smile and jog over to krist

"Hey uh so I saw you looking at my friend Sophie.." I began

"Look I don't mean anything bad by it" he begins

"Listen I know you probably like her so how about you guys hang out I can be there for sophie you know so she don't say the wrong shit" i smile

"Yeah sure my place? You know where I live right" he smiles a little

"Well not exactly" i say "I need it on paper"

"Uh here" he begins to write his address down "do you mind if I bring kurt so I Don't say the wrong shit" he says laughing and handing me the paper

"Oh- uh of course I don't mind- I mean why would I it's your house-" I say quickly getting cut off

"Do you..like kurt" he starts to laugh

"Be quiet you like Sophie!" I say hitting his arm slightly

"Hey you be quiet! You screamed that!" He says slightly hitting me back "let's make a deal we don't tell anyone who we like and you tell me shit about Sophie so I can impress her and get her to like me" he says putting his hand out to shake on it

"Okay deal..but you have to tell me stuff about kurt like what he likes so I can impress him" I say shaking on it

"I'm going to tell Kurt you tell Sophie" he says running in the direction kurt went

I walk back to Sophie "so what did you say and why were you guys hitting eachother" she says with a hint of jealousy

"Let's just say we are going somewhere after school" i smile and head to my classes
