I WAS SITTING at the bottom of hazel's bed watching tv as Cha Cha had curlers on up against her arm where she had been cut.

"I don't understand how you two can watch this crap" she said to us walking through the room.

"You don't find it interesting how ordinary people live their lives?" Hazel asked

"I wish I was a kardashian" I said thinking about the time I was supposed to be doing work and the handler caught me watching it at the table. I zoned out as they were talking and Cha Cha clicked her fingers in my face and I blinked a few times before I realized she was talking

"Sorry" I said to her before hearing that one familiar sound and I rolled my eyes and went to go get the letter from the commission.

"Seven percent reduction in payment due to job delay further reduction every 24 hours until job complete" I read out sighing as hazel took it and crumpled up the paper

"That is just .... I mean...it's only been one lousy day let's see em get out from behind their desks get their hands dirty for once damn lazy bastards" hazel said

"Are you done?" Cha Cha asked

"Yeah" hazel said as I ran back through to see the tv changed channels

"No! Hazel the tv changed channel again" I shouted

"What no we never got to see what colour it would be!" He said

"I think that's the least of our worries right now" cha cha said to us in disapproval.

Hazel asked me and cha cha if we wanted to go to griddys donuts with him and we both said yes but i didn't think it would be the best idea after I was there when the place was shot up but it is what it is she's probably scared of me now I guess.

I was sitting there with a coffee again and hazel had a donut.

"I'm going to the bathroom" Cha Cha said walking out.

"Im going for a cigarette" I said and the lady turned around confused

"Ha ha you know those fake sweet ones yeah I pretend all the time" I said smiling then walking out and lighting it with my finger again. I could see hazel got another donut and was talking to the lady and eventually cha cha walked back through again so I waited a while before coming back through.

"So is there anything you can tell us about the night that this place got shot up" he asked just as I walked in.

"Uh...well I-I mean she was there" she pointed to me.

"Oh yes sorry but I left just as you walked through to that room there" I said smiling and she made an o shape with her mouth.

"I already told the police everything I know twice" actually she said smiling

"Do you remember the boy from that night?" cha cha asked her

"I didn't really notice him to be honest uh him and his father sat right over there" she said pointing to two seats

"That most definitely was not his father" cha cha said

"We're just concerned for his safety is all it's a dangerous world out there wouldn't want anything bad to happen to him" hazel said to her
