Amyra was fuming in anger and jealousy. Karan seemed to forgot about his surroundings when Teju was with him. That's what Amyra hated the most. She hated to be ignored by Karan that too due to some other girl.
In order to gain his attention she started fake coughing while holding Karan's arm intentionally.
A glass of water was passed to her by someone. She got happy thinking that someone to be Karan but disappointment filled her inside when she found the someone was some other guy who was sitting beside her.
She took the glass giving a fake smile to that guy.
"You okay?" Karan asked out of humanity.
"Yeah." She replied quickly.
"Eat carefully Amyra, or you may choke to death." Teju said with a fake concern.
Teju and Amyra shared a look of hatred before they resumed their breakfast.

Post breakfast, the elders got busy in works and the kids were playing in the play area.
Kiyaansh was playing cricket with other kids. It was his first time playing cricket so he was facing difficulties.
It was his turn to bat. He stood on the crease taking position but he couldn't figure out how to hold the bat.
On the other hand, Karan's dad was roaming around and reached the play area where he saw the kids playing.
He noticed a kid that looked like four or five years old. He bowled really well despite of his age. He was the youngest among the kids. Karan's dad was really impressed with his performance.
But when he saw the kid struggling with the bat, he couldn't help but go ahead and help him. He stood behind the kid.
"You don't hold the bat like that, little boy." Karan's dad said gaining the little boy's attention.
Karan's dad stood behind the kid as he helped him to hold the bat properly. Then he stepped back leting him play on his own.
The kid couldn't make the bat contact with the ball. He failed miserably.
Karan's dad couldn't see his failure.
"Is it the first time you are playing?"
The kid nodded at him.
"Don't be sad, little boy. You will learn with time. Come on let me teach you."
Karan's dad taught him how to held the bat then guided him how to hit the ball. Being a quick learner, the kid learnt it quickly. Then he started playing on his own. Hitting boundaries now and then.
After the end of the match, the kid came running to Karan's dad. The kid jumped into Karan's dad's arms taking him in surprise.
"Yeayy!! We won the match. Thank you so much."
Karan's dad held him. He was happy to see the victory smile on the kid's kid. His happiness doubled when kid came to him after winning.
"What's your name little boy?" Karan's dad asked.
"Kiyaansh Kundrra." The kid replied.
The surname shocked him to the core.
"Kundrra? Is he-- is he Karan's son?" Karan's dad thought.
Before he could voice out his thoughts, he felt a touch on his shoulder. He turned around to find his wife.
"Dadi...."
Kiyaansh squealed in excitement when he saw his grandmother. He pulled away from Karan's dad and wrapped his little arms around his grandmother's legs.
Now it was clear like water. The little kid was Karan's son, his grandson. Karan's dad looked at his wife in a questioning gaze asking her through his eyes if what he was thinking was true. Though he himself knew the answer, he just wanted the clarification.
