"Clothes?" Nancy asks while looking at the list she wrote on the paper.
"Got it." Will acknowledges, closing Lucas room door while holding some clothes in his hands, putting it in a bag.
"Snacks?" Nancy questions, turning towards Dustin.
"Skittles, chips, three musketeers, more chocolate and the remake coke." Dustin says while pointing towards each item, having a satisfied smile on his face. "Everything that Lucas Sinclair likes." Dustin finishes.
"Just be sure you don't forget the 'things like Lucas Sinclair likes' again nerd." Erica chimes in, having her usual expression on her face.
"That was one time Erica! One time!" Dustin defends while holding up a finger.
"One time to many, just the facts." Erica finishes, taking the snacks and putting them in the bag and walking outside to the car.
"I also figured to get more books and comics for him, seems like he is running out." Steve says while holding the books and comics in his hands, making his way towards Nancy. "Who can go wrong with Karate kid?" Steve jokes, giving a light smile to Nancy.
"Good idea." Nancy says, giving back the light smile. Steve smiles a little bit wider, maybe he has missed the smile that she always gives...
"Oh and movies to watch while there! I mean who just wants to be sitting there all day stuck with the boring hospital movies they run on that TV 24/7?! I know if that was me I would have gone crazy and if Max can hear the constant replay of that monster movie that plays every morning then..."
"Robin!" Both Steve and Nancy interrupt her, both of their expressions basically telling her to stop talking.
"Right." Robin says to herself, going to put the movies in the bag, putting it over her shoulder. "I call shotgun!" She says while making her way outside.
"There's no way she's getting shotgun, not while I'm driving." Steve says.
"Or I drive and both of you sit in the back." Nancy says, going around the room to make sure everyone is packing everything that is needed.
"Well then who will be sitting in the front?" Steve questions. "I thought Johnathan would be with Hopper and Joyce."
"He will be." Nancy says, wincing a little at his name. "I'll just have Mike sit at the front." Nancy says quickly, about to brush pass Steve but he stands in front of her.
"Nants? Is everything okay?" Steve questions, his eyes holding concern. "Well, I know things are shitty right now as it is but...are you?"
Nancy puts on a smile. "I'm fine. Let's just go." She says, brushing pass Steve and beginning to make her way to the front door. "Let's go everyone!" Nancy calls, everyone following her out to the car. Nancy goes in the drivers side, Mike going into the passenger side. Steve Erica and Robin sit in the back together while Dustin and Will goes to sit in the far back. Nancy cranks up the car, one of her hands on the steering wheel while the other one still holds the keys.
"What's wrong?" Mike questions.
Nancy stills for a few moments before turning to everyone in the back. "No one ask if he is okay. He's not, let's just...be there for him." Nancy says. "Mike, Dustin, Will..." Nancy starts while looking at each of them. "...Lucas needs you more than ever now. Be there for him." Nancy says, all of them nodding in understanding.
"Why can't we ask if he's okay?" Mike questions.
Nancy goes to look ahead of her, putting the car into reverse. "Because it never helps." She mentions more quietly.
