Bzzzt bzzzt bzzzt!

Oh, I hate that alarm clock! I wish I could toss it out the window sometimes!

I stretched  my arms and finally got off the bed.

I went downstairs.

" good morning mom, good morning dad" I said.

" good morning sweetie " they said.

I sat on the table and mom served me breakfast.

My little brother Luke started screaming and playing with the toy airplane.

Mom served me pancakes and Luke came and took a little and put it in his mouth. Suddenly he made a weird face and  threw the food from his mouth in my plate and continued playing with his airplane.

" you! "

" you cannot just spit in my food"

" come back here"

" Laura, let him play, I'll make you another one, don't make such a big deal" my mom said.

This is what always happens.

Siblings are so annoying. People think that having Siblings is fun, that you will never feel lonely,  that if you have siblings you will have a fun childhood. But the reality is that it is only 5% fun and 95% annoying.

I finished my breakfast.

" thanks mom, I will see you guys later" I said and left the house.

Ohh wait I did not introduce myself, before we go back to that let me introduce myself.

I'm Laura, Laura Smith.

I am 17 years old and I go to high-school

And currently,  I'm going for work. I decided to get a summer job, I started working at a ice-cream Palor.

I was going for work but was stopped because I could not take my eyes off of Noah.

He is cleaning his car, SHIRTLESS

And those toned abs.....   Stop it Laura!

I sighed and started walking to work.

Noah is my neighbor... and my first crush.

Even though he is my neighbor, our worlds are completely different.

His father owns a really successful company.

Noah is the most popular guy in school, and I, I am the most invisible girl.

Noah is the kind of guy that will make out with you and never talk to you again.

He has never lasted with the same girl for a week.

Why I like him you ask?

Well.. he is the most handsome man I have set my eyes on.

But the real reason is, when we were younger a scary looking dog started chasing me. I was so scared and I was crying and yelling for my parents to help me but they weren't there.

That's when Noah came and fought the dog with a stick. The dog had bit him on his hand but instead of worrying about himself he helped me up and said " Hey don't cry, I won't let him hurt you"   and that is the reason I have a crush on him.

I have every picture of him, at this point I think I have more pictures of him than him and his parents combined.

Yeah, I know that's really crazy.

Which is exactly why I decided to put a stop to it.

If Noah ever saw my computer, he would think I'm gone crazy.

But yeah, it's safe to say that I have the hugest crush on Noah and the sad part is that I'm not the only one. But that isn't even the worst part, the worst part is that I'm not even a competition for the other girls that like him.

Why is why I decide to get over the crush. And I also decided that I wanted to have a social life.

I opened the door for the ice-cream Palor.

The palor was located near the beach and guess who decided to volunteer for the job of life guard.

You guessed that right.. or wrong, I don't know.

Anyways it's Noah, Noah is the life guard.

My 15 year old self would die with happiness.

But I could not care less about that, I have to focus on school and... other stuff that do not include Noah.

I put on my apron and was now ready for costumers.

..

" that would be three dollars " I said.

The women gave me the money.

" thank you, have a nice day" I wished her.

I sighed.

Today was really busy, it's almost 6. My shift gets over at six.

I clean up and get ready to leave.

I went to open the door, I bumped my head into someone.

Ouch, that's one hard head

" Outch " I wined.

I looked up to see who it was.

" Noah " I said.

" well hi neighbor " he said " I wanted something "

" well you are gonna have to get it tomorrow, my shift is over" I said.

" come on__ " he said but was stopped by me.

" see you later Noah" I said.

I stood near the door and waited for him to come out so that I can lock the door.

Nothing.

Why is he not coming out?

" you gonna come out or do you want me to lock you?" I asked.

" I'm not going to come out until you give me what I want" he said.

" and what exactly do you want?" I asked.

" vanilla ice-cream in between two peach waffles.  Can u make me that?" He asked.

" can't u come tomorrow?" I asked.

" No " he replied.

" ok then, I'm locking you" I said.

I went to close the door but was stopped by him.

" Hey"

" Hey, wait"

I crossed my hands over my chest and looked at him with a serious face.

" please" he pleased.

" fine just this once" I said.

I went inside and put the waffle mixture in the waffles maker.

" there's a party today at the beach, you should come" he said.

" I don't think so" I said.

" Why are you so against having fun" he asked.

" I'm not against having fun" I said

" yes, yes to are" he said

" here" I said and give him his order.

" thanks but I don't have any money on me right now, I'll pay you later" he said and left.

He did not even wait for me to reply.

I sighed, cleaned up and left.
